Anna Nierling lives in Jersey City with her husband and two year old daughter. Anna’s mother was diagnosed with BPD after first receiving a Bipolar Disorder diagnosis. Years of untreated BPD symptoms were caused by this misdiagnosis, but Anna's mother has since undergone DBT Therapy and has made great strides towards recovery. Anna wants to use her writing to support others with BPD, and to increase knowledge and understanding of the condition. Anna is extremely aware of the suffering caused by Borderline Personality Disorder, for both the affected individual and their loved ones. Because of her own experience with her mother's illness, Anna has a strong sense of compassion and love for those who are going through a similar ordeal. When not writing, Anna is an avid reader of mystery novels and psychology books. She also loves to run, hike, and jump on her mini trampoline. You’ll also catch Anna cooking up a storm in the kitchen or playing with her tiny Shih-tzu dog.
