Worth Hearing It

Being a novice enterprenuer, I have listened to every bit of this audio book. It has changed my present attitude towards approaching a task. Steve's comments like "pirates not navy" have really thrilled me. His detail-oriented style has resulted in fantasitc 'i' products . His "Blue Fish" dinner with Sony chief was exciting!. Current management style needs a re-vist by following Stevian approach. Thanks to Jay Elliot such a marvelous book.

While the stories were engaging, I was expecting it to be more about Steve Job's leadership style than a memoir about Jay Elliot's career path.

Good insight about the way Steve Jobs works

The book is written by someone who has worked with Steve Jobs and hence it captures his thought and style of work in detailed. I wish there was little more information about the way Steve developed iPhone and iPad. In short an excellent book.

Fascinating & informative

Explains well the history of Steve Jobs, Apple and their rise to power. Perhaps also the potential decline in product quality since Steve's passing...

Disappointing, nothing new

Would you try another book from Jay Elliot and William L. Simon and/or Christopher Hurt?

There was nothing new here. I would have thought that someone that had worked so closely with Steve Jobs would have had deeper insights. Most of it was surface stuffy and recycled info.

I have read all of the other books on Steve Jobs out to date and I consider this one to be the best because of Jay's insider insights.
His balanced perspective and realistic facts are profound.
Finding out about the real human being Steve Jobs is even more inspiring.

I was touched deeply by Jay Elliots insights into the period where he valued and experienced Steve jobs as the creative dynamic and commited force behind the greatest comapny in the world and the roadblocks he encountered . For many eyars I have wanted to know the details of what happened an after reading this book many times over adn over I felt the challenges that Steve Jobs faced and transcended with his creative passion adn vision.
With Apple being the top selling stock on the planet right now what more do I need to stay,
being commited to your vision no matter what it looks like and being resilient can transform the world.
We have lost the leonardo da vinci of our time in a manner.
