Bullets, bunkers, and the roving undead fill this post-apocalyptic and horror collection, which includes stand-alone tales in the Contamination, Outage, and Ruins universes, among others!

"Better Guns and Gardens"

One of the last survivors of a deadly virus, Martin is out of food, luck, and time. More importantly, he is out of hope. It seems he has only one choice left.

And then his wife brings up a glimmering possibility. Her suggestion may lead to their salvation, but at what cost?

"On the Run"

Will she survive the insanity of the streets? Or will she succumb to the spreading plague, The Sickness?

"First Cut"

For years Stephen Silva has blended into the background, watching those around him take advantage of their beauty and privilege, waiting for the day he can even the odds.

Tonight, he might just get his wish....

"Doom with a View"

Weeks after the contamination, Carter is losing hope of ever seeing his sons again. Doomed to live out the rest of his life in his mountain bunker, he teeters between acceptance and despair. And then he sees something down the steep side of his mountain that will change everything.

Have his prayers been answered?

Excellent collection!

Excellent collection of short stories from T.W. Piperbrook. The Shadowed Wall is probably my favorite, but only because The Ruins series is my favorite series by Piperbrook. I honestly lived each story in this collection and would love to hear more short stories from the author, hopefully with the same narrator. I love Sean Runnette's narration. Always a pleasure to listen to.
