Hot, exciting worth the credit
The story pulled me in kept my attention and was sometimes sad to listen to, her life was hard. Her mother did what she needed for her child. The plot is thick with twist and turns narrator did an excellent job. Worth the credit, will listen again and will now follow the Author.

Frustrating and as equally Satisfying
Frustrating as despite the obvious “angst” of a forced marriage …much of the drama was from such an outrageous lack of any piece of sane judgement from one of the main characters …it was so unbelievably beyond EYE ROLLING!!!
Satisfying because I told myself about a 1/3 of the way in …I must be reading a book 3 or 4 in a series…thus there is little to no context for the male lead…so let it go; next - I flipped in my mind that this is NOT one of my favorite dark mafia heart pounders —-instead—it’s more of a love story where someone that’s had lots of trauma becomes the obsession of a domineering bad boy with lots of connections
Poof! Magic!…the story became a “satisfying” three cable channels in one

Yummy cover, like the book😉
I love all of the diamond magnate novels! I always check out what C. Paul’s has on offer! The Dubious and Consent were good also. You can find them in a duo-logy, I 🤔 But I always buy these books! Love the narrators as well!
