Great kickstart for a sustainable eating habit!

This book is a wonderful guide for beginners like me who are new to gardening and very interested in sustainable living(especially in the food department). The author's storytelling style and soothing narration make it an engaging and enjoyable listen. I loved how the book emphasizes recreating a nostalgic garden and connecting with nature. The step-by-step instructions and practical tips make it easy to understand and implement. Even a complete beginner like me find it easy to follow. The author's focus on sustainability, using safe methods, and avoiding harmful chemicals resonates with my values. My favourite chapter is probably chapter 6 on how to deal with pests. This is my biggest nightmare as a beginner and the author left no stones unturned in this chapter, and by the end of it, I feel way more confident. I love the tip on promoting biodiversity so the plants themselves can repel pests without me polluting the ground with chemicals. So smart! Whether you're a beginner or experienced gardener, this book offers gentle guidance and helpful insights for creating a fruitful and eco-friendly garden. Highly recommended for anyone starting their sustainable gardening journey!

Great book with so many tips!

I loved this book. I just started gardening 2 years ago, and I wish I had had this book before I started! I especially liked the comments the author made on mistakes made and how he moved forward. Discussions about the use of different containers, tools, sterilization of tools, insects, and so on were great. Glossary is a great reference section. Highly recommend!

Has got me inspired

I'm just about to buy a house with an acre of garden. My wife wants a walled garden for vegetables, but I've always wanted to grow fruit as well so we can be as self-sufficient as possible. There's also something great about eating something that you grew. This book is great at taking you through all the steps that you need to set up and maintain your garden. Thoroughly recommend!
