Zatana with Batman
Full confession, I am a huge comics geek going back to my childhood in the 50's. Batman has always been my number one character. For the most part, the movie versions have been excellent with one exception. Seeing the Batman - The Blind Cut available on Audible was too much to resist. Unfortunately, it was not what I expected.
The novel was really more about Zatana with Batman in a co-staring role. Also, it is primarily a tale of mysticism and magic. I was looking more for a straight up Batman tale somewhat grounded in the real world. This was far from that. In fact, in parts, it seemed like I was listening to Sandman by Neil Gaiman. The narration was fine, it was just the material that was not my cup of tea. I did listen to the very end but just could not wait for it to finish.

Missing last episode! Please update it!
okay so I'm updating this review to let others who are interested in this title to not purchase it on Audible, as the offering on Audible is missing the final episode that concludes this podcast, so its pointless to purchase it here.
If you want to listen to this in its completion, I suggest going to Realm itself, where I did find the last episode there.

Cliffhanger
The story is incomplete. Just at the start of Act 3 the story slam of its breaks and you get the Audible closing credit. Such a disappointment!! I will return to get my credit back.

Ended as if it was cut off
The story clipped with relatively little closure. Is this a part one of two? Acting and writing was well done, but ending a full story with literally no closure is irritating.

MISSING FINAL CHAPTER
Seriously, how is Audible allowed to sell this title when they’re missing it’s final chapter? Like, it just cuts out randomly without so much as an end credit sequence.
The story and presentation are great, but don’t waste your money listening to it on Audible, download it directly from Realm.
