Originally, the Atkins diet was perceived as unhealthy because Atkins was encouraging a lot of saturated fat. This is the main reason why the Atkins diet has attracted the wrath of various health organizations. However, new studies have shown that saturated fats are not as bad as always thought.

Despite the criticism he faced in his early days, the Atkins diet has become extremely popular with millions of people around the world and has been given dozens of books.

The Atkins diet is a little similar to the ketogenic diet, in that both diets recommend consuming large amounts of protein and fat, and drastically reducing its carbohydrate intake. The body draws its energy from carbohydrates and fats. It is only when it runs out of these two macronutrients that the body starts to draw its protein energy.

With the Atkins diet, the body goes from burning carbohydrates to burning fat. Foods high in carbohydrates cause a rise in blood sugar, which sends the body the signal that it must produce more insulin. Insulin is a hormone that produced in excess, causes the storage of fat.

Robert Atkins' diet limits foods known to increase blood sugar and insulin production. This diet significantly limits the consumption of carbohydrates; so the body is forced to burn fat. There is no caloric restriction either. SIMPLE.

This diet has been easy to follow.

This diet has been easy to follow. These recipes are helpful and really yummy. it's very easy to listen no matter what your vocation, and good nutritional reminders. I have used this audiobook continuously to help keep me on the right track to healing my body. There are some really great recipes in here!

Good informative.

This book has some good information about the Atkins Diet. Very informative, especially about how the body processes food and different types of nutrients. Many of the recipes mentioned are unique and absolutely delicious! It can be really motivating if you really understand the chemical processes behind everything you put in your mouth. Highly recommended.

This book turns into phenomenal

I like coconut mike and cooking with it has never entered my thoughts as of not long ago. This audiobook showed me something new for breakfast. This book gives an exceptionally essential clarification! Overall, thanks to the author. These book methods are very specific examples of this topic.

Precise listen to the perception

This is an awesome audiobook that will teach you how to fight inflammation using good recipes with minimal work and simple elements. He faced it and that is amazing. I think that this book is a wonderful tool, in which there are many tips. I found this audiobook full of tips and advice I will use.

Great resource

I started by learning the essentials and applied this to my diet. I found blood work returned by my doctor which was simply outstanding in an extremely short time. Lost weight quickly and very permanently. Able to maintain weight and never felt this was a fad diet. From the beginning, I knew this was a lifestyle I could live with forever. Very pleased and will continue to reference. Look forward to reading more like this book.

Well done

The cookbook is extraordinary as it has a ton of incredible formulas. This book contains a total clarification of the Atkins Diet with rules on sustenance to incorporate and nourishment to stay away from. I switch up the dinners amid the week and the cookbook truly proves to be useful. This book is very elegantly composed by the writer and I exceedingly prescribe this book to every one of you folks.
