Another exciting series

Love the characters, the story was exciting and had some different twists than I am not used to and I read a lot of KU. I can’t wait to get to the next book. The only criticism I had is that while the author went to great lengths to set up the story line in detail, I felt that the hopelessness and despair of the first few chapters went on for a very long time. I considered putting the book down, but was glad I did not.

Arrival!

WOW!! Overall, the narrators did a good job with bringing this story to life. The story is suspenseful and a touch sad. It is a captivating story that definitely had me hook, line and sinker. It is a dystopian kind of story where aliens are destroying everything they come in contact with. The women are bred and killed. The story starts of with three captured women in a cage in the machine. Then another alien race comes to save them sparking some unforeseen outcomes. I loved this story and the characters! Adira, a human veterinarian, is one of the captured women. Fer'ro and his brothers rescue them. Fer'ro is immediately drawn to Adira. She is a little apprehensive about these new aliens. The story is slow build with not stop action and suspense. The story does have angst, danger, fear, excitement and great twists and turns. It does read as a stand alone and I cannot wait to sink into the next story.

Excellent sci-fi series

This is not your typical alien invasion of earth which made this series quite interesting. The narration was awesome. I read the whole series on Kindle. I was lucky to find two of the books on Audible. A.G. hoping to see the complete series on Audible soon.

Amazing series - Fer’ro + Adira

🗣️- 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧
📚-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🥵 - 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (Slow burn until about 80% due to world building and character setting but done well)

This is a first for me by this author and I am automatically hooked. I love the writing and the imagination that went into this. I am hoping this will be continued on audio because it’s amazing!

Adira is jogging when Earth is invaded the Gryken - an octopus like alien that came to earth to invade, reproduce and destroy. Adira is captured and held in the belly of the Skrit (gryken body) with other women. One day the Vollan (another alien species) and rescue the women from the skrit belly. And from here is where the story take off…. I don’t want to give anything away but this is amazing alien romance! ❤️‍🔥

Fer'ro and Adira

This is the first book in a series. As suspected, we are not the only ones out here. The story starts with the invasion of the Gryken. Those beautiful falling stars were Scrit ships, pods with arms and legs which roam the planet scooping up the resources. As a species they take all the resources, and then move onto the next planet. One resource they gather is humans, you are instantly divided into breeders or food for the Gryken. Adira was captured by the Scrit ship and being held for breeding when the Vullan ship destroys the Scrit. Fer’ro is one of the aliens on the Vullan ship who helps Adira and two other women escape. Vullan are huminoid-reptile creatures, who communicate with clicks, growls, and thrumming sounds. I liked how the story explains how they start communicating in English. Over time Adira and Vullan develop a relationship.

The story is interesting and engaging. I breezed through it pretty quickly, just did not want to put it down. I liked the characters, and feel they are well developed. I don’t completely follow Adira’s chemistry to Fer’ro. I do see Fer’ro’s to Adira though. Not certain if the chemistry is real, or if she is using the situation to her best advantage. I am looking forward to the next in the series. Real question is are their species compatible for offspring?

Rescue of the invaded.

Reminiscent of the War of the World movie from the standpoint of a giant orb with legs conquering the world. But that's where the similarities end. Adira and her friends count the days they have left until the Vullan rescues them. Fer'ro the captain of the Vullan crew has pursued his enemy to Earth. He didn't expect to find his mate.

I liked this version of an alien invasion. The story is presented in the first person, dual narrated and well delivered.

Great Story but the narration drags it down.

I read this set of books and really enjoyed the stories very much. Unfortunately, I didn't sample this before purchasing the audible version. The 2 narrators aren't engaging or entertaining.

Loved It!

I loved this story! I was completely hooked from the beginning. You can just feel the horror, shock, fight, and near hopelessness through the eyes of the heroine Adira as Earth was invaded by aliens and humanity decimated. She and two other women are rescued by Fer'ro and his group- a different alien species determined to put an end to the invaders who also destroyed their world. I was absolutely captivated! Narrators Julie Branson and Gene Branson did a fantastic job narrating. I could especially hear the emotion in Julie's voice at different emotional moments. An exciting story. This is the first book of A.G. Wilde's that I've heard or read, and I'm definitely looking forward to more!

Pretty good

The storyline starts off kinda scary; kept me glued in place and listening intently. Off to a good start. The narrators did a great job with narration. There was one thing I didn’t understand fully and still don’t. Maybe the next book will clear it up; one can only hope.

Adventurous story, a couple of steamy sex scenes +

I did love this book. it was a little slow to start but it's worth the wait. The voice actors are superb 🫠😍, especially the male voice.
The story had a good plot build up and character development. I do with there was a little more backstory to the Vullan males, in this case Fer'ro.
I definitely recommend this book.
***SPOILER ALERT***
It's definitely more of an alien invasion rescue turns to fated mates type of book. If that's your thing, you'll absolutely love it.
