Great addition to the Ivy Hill series
Visiting Ivy Hill at Christmas was great for the imagination. Having read the previous books, catching up with old friends and meeting new ones was fun and festive. It felt like I was stepping into the Victorian English countryside and experiencing the twelve days of Christmas traditions with the characters. A fun read.

Excellent!
I throughly enjoyed this book from J. Klassen- I was a little surprised by the Christian influence into the story but it did not diminish it or consume it - I am looking forward to hearing the other books in the series !

This is such a sweet story, and if you’ve read the Ivy Hill series you are going to want to read this one too! I love how it involves and Christ centered Christmas, and it’s quite the redemption story.

Nicely Written
A good story, as usual, from Julie Klassen, highlighting different characters from Ivy Hill. I like this narrator, but I didn't care for the main characters' voices. Or one of the sisters. The sister sounded like an old woman, and the main characters sounded droll and a bit pompous. But good overall.

Excellent
I always enjoy Julie Klassen’s work. This was definitely one more. The timing for Christmas was great. But I recommend this book any time of year. It’s a delight. And Wally come to life is a wonderful addition.
