A love story 16 years in the making.

Mo and Kate have loved each other since college. Lived together for most of their adult lives. it takes a vacation in Cozumel for them to say the love they always shared. I loved having Ried and Julia a part of this story. The long talks but misunderstood emotions. The journey of walls crumbling, truth being told and loving each other to protect the new us. This a hard love story with insecure hearts all around. Abby Craden gives life to so many moments. A great listen for all the feels.

Overthinking-first class

I love this series but the overthinking every last detail nearly drove me nuts.
Talk about taking yourself too seriously. Kate scores first!
Great story otherwise.

best narration

I will listen to almost any book if the narration is good, this book was good enough I did wanted to shake the charactors a bit, But Abby Craden made it sound great.

Kate was a bit much

The main character was pretty whiney and obnoxious. At times it made her unlikeable and seemed a little far fetched.

Kate is annoying, but still a good read

There are tons of reviews that say how annoying Kate is with her back and forth. I made it through 2/3 of the book before I agreed. Still enjoyed the plot and the love story! Narrator was absolutely amazing.

Beat friends+guarded secrets= beautiful mess

Totally digger this book on kindle. Really captured my interest due to my intense friendship with my childhood best friend. Though there was not hidden sexual and or romantic feelings involved we in a relationship with plenty of love and discourse lol 😂 The characters Mo and Kate are intriguing and has depth . Had to try the audio, and ofcourse Abbey Craden is my hero 🦸‍♀️ in narration.
Thank you so much Jaime Clevenger ❤️
P.S. onto another one of your paradise audios

Liked it

Out of the 3 in this series, this was my least favorite. Just letting you know though...I paused many moments before typing that. They all have their good parts and bad parts. Since this is the second in the series, you know the two MC’s from the first book and that makes it that much better.
I am not sure why there are a fair amount of bad reviews or why they don’t like Kate. Sure, I wanted to smack her upside the head a few times but that’s the beauty of it! And quite honestly, until you have walked in someone elses shoes and experienced what they did, you will never know the half of dealing with what she did. Sure everyone deals with things differently....which is exactly the point btw.
I say...read the series in order. Not critical but definitely helps and makes it more enjoyable. Besides, Abby Craden is the narrator. Pretty sure I have a slight crush on her.

Enjoyable sequel

I enjoyed this 2nd book in the paradise series and love the way Jaime Clevenger writes. I mainly liked the (small) parts with Julia & Reed’s adorable twins and the blending moments of all four adult friends. I was happy Mo & Kate got their own book and I cheered the relationship from the start. They had great chemistry together & at times were fun. However, I didn’t expect the one MC to have SO MUCH insecurity & self-loathing. Half the book I felt frustrated about Kate’s constant doubts & apprehension. In fact, I felt so annoyed at times with Kate that I had to take breaks between listening to the story. I def yelled at my iPad a time or two! Yes, Kate made me do it (Lol). But in the end, everything worked out between Mo & Kate…hurrah!
I’m looking fwd to the 3rd book because I really like Dr Terry…and maybe there’ll be more sweet Bryn & Carly moments.
P.S. Listen to this series in chronological order. Abby Craden does a phenomenal job with everyone’s voice!
