Wonderful story and narration
Nicholas Ralph brings the story to life brilliantly. I’ve enjoyed watching his portrayal of James Herriot in All Creatures Great and Small, and I’ve enjoyed the three recordings of the books. Looking forward to the fourth installment!

Makes one’s heart smile ❤️
I have so enjoyed this series of books! It takes me to a place I’ve never been, but dream to go. I love the thoughts of a simpler time and life. The narrating is superb!

Perfect choice of narrator!
Nicholas Ralph brings a warm and personable voice to the memoirs of Alf Wight, AKA James Herriot. His knack for accents is stellar, and his natural brogue is like a warm sweater on a cold night in the Yorkshire Dales…
