Zero consistency
This book can’t decide if it wants to be hardcore woke, a teenage boy’s wet dream of a harem or some flip-flopping moral story. They keep trying to venerate Arthur and Merlin, yet 90% of what they did is F*ck up. Then the “real” bad guy(or woman) was psychologically abused for nearly two decades by her dad, brother and Merlin and everyone is surprised that she stuck back. It was really hard to finish this book.

Well worth it
My only complaint is that there is a fight towards the end where there’s some banter you know who the bad guy leader is but the first insta-kill move is for some reason targeted at a peon instead of the person giving orders...

This has one crazy story line. It flows well and keeps you wondering what is next.
