It could have been better

The story line was good but the reader sounded too old. Too much angst, the romance was okay, kinda boring. The steaminess was a two out of ten, poorly executed and boring. I really wanted to like the story but too much was drawn out. The ending had a good twist but then fell short. This is the second purchase from this author and sad to say my last.

Hudson gets his HEA!

And he is not the only one. This is another great book with a lot of mystery and many twists and turns. It's fast-paced and kept me enthralled 'til the very end. And what an ending it was! Be prepared for a big showdown on a foggy bridge. I love the author's imagination! You think you know who the villain is? Think again. Thank you for the wonderful journey you took us on, Ms. Clee. I just wish there were more books in this series. And let's not forget Liisa Ivary. Her narration is always great.

Good finish to series

This series started with a strong heroine and ended with a strong heroine. There is nothing more refreshing than finding a story with a strong heroine and a confident hero who has faith in the heroine handling business herself...

Romance, passion and friendship

Another great story from Adele Clee. Hudson Lockhart is the last of the friends to have his story told. The characters of Claudia Darling and Hudson Lockhart were engaging, Claudia would do everything to provide for her sister, she was caring but had a steel core when needed. Hudson was determined to clear his name. This was an engrossing story that has a number of surprises, some tender moments and moments where true friendship came to the fore. It also had a fascinating relationship between Claudia and Hudson that had humour and passion. I’m only sorry that this was the last on the series.
The narrator, Liisa read the story well and used different voices to bring the characters to life.
