Worst! Narrator! Ever!
I love Gregg Olsen and I've listened to several of his books. This may have been a good story but there were about 20 characters in the story and only one narrator. She made a gruff voice for the male parts; a whiny valley girl voice for the teenagers and just different accents for the women. It was awful and distracting.
I can't really rate the story due to the narration.

Truly a great listen
Gregg Olsen is one of the best authors!
This book was switch back and switch here and not too many clues to figure out the ending too soon.
The characters were very well developed and Karen Peakes narration brought them to life!!!

Cold Dark Place
Very good book. Kept me anxious to return to the book so I can find out 'what next'. No 'lull' in the story, but always kept me interested. I remained surprised at every turn., Some things you did predict, but you didn't know what the writer would do with it. Definitely recommend.

Just really very meh... Not offensively bad, but incredibly uninspired and comes across as if it was written by a slightly above average IQ frat boy. The author definitely doesnt appreciate any women that dont meet a very specific beauty standard.

Shiver! Be careful who you trust.

Gripping! There are surprises at the end that are totally unexpected. The characters throughout are believable and mostly consistent, but the amounts of evil Are decidedly unexpected. It's hard to conceive of a series based on this, but the raw emotions and loyalties are fabulous, and the emotions are palpable.
