A nice love story across class lines
A love story that follows a traditional trope, well written and well narrated that takes place in historical Ireland. Following an English family living on their estate outside of Dublin Ireland and their Irish servants, the author does a great job character building on both sides of the class lines. The narrator has a nice male Irish accent and does a good job with the different voices. I’m just sorry I didn’t realize the second book is not out yet!

Remarkable storyline
Absolutely remarkable and well written novel that is full of storyline that keeps you so interested for hours. Narrator is also wonderful.

Does Irish always have to mean misery?
This book starts off sad, and then gets sadder, and then turns miserable. But wait . . . then it becomes tragic. Unfortunately there was no part of this book that made me feel good or happy or content. Please don't waste your credit.
