An amazing guide to weight loss

The author of this book is very creative. The way this book is laid out, it is perfect for anyone who wants to do without the fluff and get right to the answers. You can learn about all aspects of weight loss quickly. The author has structured this book in 190 separate sections, each addressing one weight loss-related issue or hack. We are not talking about some fluffy hacks. These are important topics like Paleo diet, Carbs and insulin (how does it work), exercise (what if you hate exercise :)), etc. I cannot say enough about the range of topics included in this book. If you want to lose weight and you feel stuck, this is the guide book you need.

Great Audiobook!

This audiobook has some great suggestions and tips you definitely want to listen to. If you are looking for a solution to your weight problems and don't know where to start or have tried other books but haven't found what you are looking for, you need to start this book. Weight loss can be an "on and off" issue for most people because of their daily habits as it was for me. Recommended for anyone trying to make a change now.

YOUR LOSS!

I’ve fought the battle all my life, and I’ll bet there are a few others who can claim the same challenge. Dieting, counting calories, “good” food, and “bad” food, the scale that goes down for a while and then bounds back even higher than before; it’s all part of the never-ending cycle of weight control.
“190 Weight Loss Hacks” lays out all the scientific research (which you can examine through the links in the bonus 300+ page PDF) and covers every angle imaginable concisely and in an easy-to-understand way.
The psychological aspects of weight loss were nicely addressed in terms of putting the kibosh on stress eating, how to deal with your friends and loved ones undermining your weight loss efforts, getting that negative voice in your head to shut up, unplugging procrastination, and much more. I also liked the suggestions on keeping the weight off (that’s a biggie for me!) and some practical ways to end-run all those holiday treats without feeling like a victim.
It’s all about developing a healthy relationship with food, but at the outset, it’s really quite simple to “cafeteria shop” the hacks in this great book and select the ones that you can apply right now with a minimum of pain.

Very interesting subject. Good narration.

I really like this audiobook.
I have seen the difficulties people face with all the different faddy diets and promises for quick fixes for weight loss.
This book is a breath of fresh air. It is honest, accurate, easy to understand, and has useful practical tips and puts the record straight. It is not just about the food choices, there are many lifestyle and mindset evidence based recommendations in here which are crucial for long term change.
Not only is it easy to listen to, humorous and informative, but it's full of so many fascinating tips and hacks.
If you want to know more about what we eat and why we eat what we do, regardless of whether you want to lose weight or not, this is a book for you-buy it.

Thinking Outside The Box

As someone who has only recently started struggling with my weight after reaching the age of 40, I found this book very insightful and useful for overcoming the mental roadblocks I have found myself facing. The author is very comprehensive in her approach and offers suggestions and implementations for several different body types, preferences, and lifestyles. I will be keeping this book around to reference each time I hit a roadblock!

I finally lost some weight

This book is great and helped me get down from 20 percent body fat to around 15. It has very simple tips and tricks for losing weight that just about anyone can apply as long as they put in a little work.
