Publisher's Summary

Best-selling author Deepak Chopra states that within each of us is a book of mysteries waiting to be opened, and when it is, the secrets of the universe will be revealed to us. The secret of love is to be found nowhere but within us, along with the secrets of healing, compassion, and faith, and the most elusive secret of all: who we truly are.

We all want to know whom to choose as a partner, what job to take, how to teach our children well. This audiobook, a crystalline distillation of insights and wisdom accumulated over the lifetime of one of the great spiritual thinkers of our time, isolates 15 secrets, among them, "What You Seek You Already Know", "Life Hurts When It Is Unreal", and "There Is No Time But Now", that can open our eyes to truths that point the way to transformation and enlightenment.

What the Critics Say

"Thoughtful and thought-provoking." (Publishers Weekly)

From AudioFile

Deepak Chopra solidifies his position as a cutting-edge personal growth teacher with this highly developed course on personal change. Going beyond the constraints of mental health and traditional religion, his secrets represent an elegant evolution of his teachings on authentic living. Starting with the basic idea of being open to internal experience, he is positively eloquent as he unfolds insight after insight and responds to the objections most of us will have to his suggestions. Chopra's many listeners will miss his lyrical voice on this recording. Still, they may find that the voice of another reader reveals more acutely the colossal intellect that Chopra's celebrated voice often overshadows. (c) AudioFile 2005

I appreciate this book . I also own the hardcopy, but prefer the spoken word in this case, also because it is narrated by a person whose first language is English. The information is extremey worthwile, and I enjoy reading the book in addition to listening the audio version. I highly recomend this title; I find it the best of all his books.

This is a good book. My only critique is the Narrator just plows through the chapters as if the book were one giant paragraph.

I found the narrator was an excellent choice for coveying the power of this book. Deepak has a beautiful voice however sometimes its uniqueness can cause the listener to lose the focus on the powerful message of his work.
This book is a tool kit for a spiritual life and i have been making incredible strides since the first download.
There is no padding or gimmickery, just pure heartfelt spirit to spirit transfer of the truth.
Buy this book and you will be transformed.

I was looking forward to this listen, and did not pay attention to who the narrator was, I thought it was Chopra. I was disappointed to have purchased an audio book narrated by a mono-tone robot. I have cancelled audible a few times for this very reason; audible should definitely have narrator ratings, The content of the book can be great and be an excellent read, but in audio form the narrator is crucial in presenting the content of the book.

Editor's note: This is why we suggest listening to samples before purchasing.

This book is not read by Deepak Chopra and the narrator lacks Chopra's charm and enthusiasm. I find my mind drifting after 5 minutes of listening because the narrator is completly unengaging and frankly the content seems far more superficial from what I expected from Deepak Chopra.
