Publisher's summary

I broke all the rules. He knows my true self. Our relationship is far from a game. I've never felt this close to a man. James Riviera is everything I never knew I wanted. Powerful, sexy, alluring, and completely mine. Now he wants to make me his wife.

I only have to say yes and I'll have forever, but forever isn't as lasting as people believe.

Great follow up to Hush Hush!

After I finished Hush Hush, I immediately wanted more of James and Aubrey's story. I felt that their story had so much left in it, so when I heard of Say Yes, I was so excited!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Angst level: 💔💔

This book starts approximately two years after Hush Hush ends, so James and Aubrey have known each other intimately for four years at this point, but only two years really together together. The love that these two have for each other is so very clear with how they are with each other and how much they make sure to tell each other that they love each other. But is love enough?

James wants to get married and when he proposes, Aubrey says no. She won't take that next step with him, even though she loves him unconditionally. So the question is, is love really enough, or do James and Aubrey need marriage? Can James move on and just be happy without that piece of paper?

They really go through it in this book, but that's why I enjoyed the book! Because they are a real couple with real problems and we got to see how they handled them. It only made me love James and Aubrey even more!

As usual with these two, the spice was HOT!

Natalie was a big component in this book and I loved that. She is such a bright light for all of them, while bringing all of the sarcastic whips when needed. Her story is definitely left untold by the end of the book, so I am hoping that Lucia Franco will be writing a Natalie book at some point!

The narrator in this book was the same as Hush Hush, which I appreciated because I was so used to how she narrated for both James and Aubrey. Perfect narrator for these characters!

Loved more Aubrey and James!

Say Yes is the perfect continuation for Aubrey and James. I know after Hush, Hush, I needed more of their story. When reading Say Yes, I read it immediately after Hush, Hush for the first time, and I enjoyed it so much more. Due to how Hush, Hush was written, we did not get a ton of James/Aubrey dynamic in that book. I loved that Say Yes had more scenes between them and was really all about them.

Elizabeth Hart did a fantastic job with the narration. Her James voice was so different from her Aubrey voice and her main reading voice. This was my first sole narration listen, and Elizabeth gave me the courage to be open to listening to more. Previously, I had only one duet or duel narration.

All in all, I highly recommend Say Yes. Its a fantastic follow up to Hush, Hush with great narration. Lucia Franco knows how to write a good book and forever has my heart with her novels.

I LOVE DADDY JAMES!!!

Oh how I missed them so much! I adored Hush Hush and I thought this was the perfect end to James and Aubrey's story. Short and to the point filled with steam and tension. I thought the conflict in here made a lot of sense and I loved how it was resolved. Also really loved the ending!!!! This duet is just a must for all the forbidden romance lovers. The audio for this duet is also just wonderful as Elizabeth does such a great job at separating each character. She's fantastic!

A perfect end to their love story!

I loved how this story feels like an extended epilogue! The narrator did a fantastic job. I'm honestly hoping there will be a series about Natalie next!

A great conclusion for James and Aubrey. Now I just need Natalie to get her own book.

Thank you @luciafranco and @foreverandalwayspr for the ALC.

"We're going to feel every bit, so we never forget who we belong to."

Fully in love but not on the same page for the future. Aubrey has some issues she needs to work out but James likes a challenge and he isn’t going anywhere. James makes me melt. The way he loves Aubrey. So full and consuming. I mean, if she ever gets bored just let me know. Aubrey is his perfect match. Everything he’s always wanted but didn’t even realize was missing from his life until she walked in. They compliment each other perfectly. Passion off the charts and top notch swoon. A fabulous completion for James and Aubrey. Would love to see Natalie get her own book and HEA. Narrated by Elizabeth Hart. She did a great job bringing the story to life, I could feel the conflict in Aubrey and the yearning from James. Elizabeth kept a great pace and flow.

"I want us to have a place to call our own, where we can continue creating more moments. I want everything with you, Aubrey. A marriage, a home. I'm in this for life, sweetheart, and I'm ready to take the next step with you."

"Maybe I am old fashioned," “but I want to know that the rest of my days are sealed with yours. You're my world, my light. You give me a reason to wake up every day. Be mine forever in the way that matters most to me."

"I want all my moments to be with you for the rest of my life."

"It's never enough when it comes to you, don't you realize that by now?"

Love Love Love

I absolutely ADORED James and Aubrey in Hush Hush, and this was the perfect way to wrap up their story. What had me REELING though was that epilogue. Excuse me Lucia, girl….. how could you leave us hanging like that?! I need Luca and Natalie’s story immediately.

Amazing as always ✨

Can’t get enough of Aubrey and James! Lucia brings all the angst and spice again in Say Yes. I also LOVED that we got to see more of Natalie. Natalie and Aubrey have such an amazing friendship and I love all their conversations. That ending makes me want more & now I can’t wait for Natalie’s book 🤞🏼 !

Back with my favs!

i loved james and aubrey when reading ‘hush hush’ and now i finally get to see how things are going for them these days

although everything between them is going good, james wants to take the next step, marriage. aubrey knowing how easily the people you love can be taken from you, is nervous about going to next level, why ruin what’s already good?

for the entirety of this novella, we stay in aubrey’s thoughts as she battles between her heart and mind deciding if she can really give james what he wants. as much as these two go through it in this book, you can really see the love they have for each other, they fought hard to get where they are today, so we already know nothing will tear them apart

elizabeth hart did the audiobook justice. you could hear each emotion so clearly, differentiate each character, and truly the accents slayed

besides finishing up james and aubrey’s story, we left something else open ended…nat front and center please!!😭i’m absolutely going to be looking for nat’s book that we may get in the future, i need ALL details on that front
