Publisher's summary

Bacchus Hill…

Alastair grew up on those streets, played soccer on the Golden Mile, and did a lot of other things that would make his Da box his ears and his Ma blush. Still, that neighborhood thrived under his family's name and since his father died, he did the same thing that had been done for generations. He took care of the people in Bacchus Hill and that included her, their new resident, Eden King. His dolt of a cousin caused her a scare, and when he met her, Alastair's world shifted.

Eden was gorgeous, she was a spark that ignited his soul, but the big hurdle was a stark reality. He was fifty years old and she was sixteen years his junior, the same age as his oldest son. Trying to deny his attraction, only made it worse and Alastair seemed to gravitate toward his Eden… his desire. Would his sons accept Eden and that he needed her in his life? Did he look like a fool with a crush on someone so young? And who was trying to use her to destroy him and his family name?

VV not this time

Eden and Alastair were going to have that heated chemistry. I just could feel it. Eden was a strong woman all on her own. She did not need a man or his money to make her sure of who and what she was. Watching the two of them make it work was nice. I love that Eden did not see Alastair's age. She saw the man. He made her laugh. He also saw her and not the color of her skin. Thank you Dahlia Rose. I loved visiting Bacchus Hill, Scotland.

This time around Virtual Voice (VV) was not cutting the mustard. There were not real differences in the different dialects/brogue/accent. This most certainly need to have a set of human narrators. This was not better than the text-to-speech.

Love the book and the author

I have read these stories, and I love this author, however I am not an actor but I know how they feel about have AI read. There is no inflection of voice, Using a British accent for an Atlanta, Georgian or Scottish Brogue just no. I am not sure why but I am with the experts no AI. There have been an increase of this use for some of my favorite authors, Unfortunately this will keep me reading and listening to the older stuff.

DR can write a tale

Dahlia Rose can spin quite the tale that takes reader along for fantastic voyage. The Virtual Voice was helpless against and it did try, but the author (DR) just slammed that down, with strength of writing, interesting environment, strong characters and snappy dialog.
