Publisher's summary

On the 10th anniversary of a profound loss, comedian Michael Cruz Kayne felt compelled to describe his feelings of grief in 140 characters or less. Much to his surprise, more than 200,000 people responded in solidarity from all corners of the globe. Overwhelmed by the response, the Late Show with Stephen Colbert writer and host of A Good Cry created Sorry for Your Loss, a sidesplitting, heartrending look at life—and death. This powerfully personal production, recorded live from the Minetta Lane Theatre, cuts through the platitudes, directly reaching out to anyone who has ever experienced loss—or will. So...everyone.

Now available in Dolby Atmos on Audible.

So real and so perfectly what we need to hear sometimes. Just to get through the mud in our thoughts.

For anyone who is grieving

Amazing balance between laughter and sadness. Wish I could share it with my mom, who experienced a similar loss. The cussing doesn’t bother me, but she wouldn’t like that part.

I'm sorry too....every day.

After losing my sister to breast cancer just a year ago...this was a refreshing and confirming audible! It's difficult to make it days without crying out maybe even not thinking of her. And then the guilt sets in. I have thought of grief as ocean waves and now this makes sense. THANK YOU FOR SHARING.

Soooo good!

So appreciated the balance of humor, while discussing gut-wrenching grief and loss. This will resonate with so many readers/listeners. Regardless of what your loss entails. So worth the hour it took to listen… Prompting many more minutes of contemplation, thought, Cathartic tears and chuckles of joy. Thank you for your vulnerability in sharing this story about your son, interwoven with your talent as a comedian…. to make it all bearable.
