An American patriot speaks from the heart

I wasn't sure why it was do important to learn about his service to the country flying planes to protect us... until I knew enough to learn who he was. Adam is a man of principles, love of family and country, and someone who stands up for what's right even though it could cost him his seat in Congress. We are blessed to have him serve us in so many ways... and I highly recommend his book!

An awesome read on just what propelled Congressman Kinzinger

I have always voted and identified as a Democrat, however as a veteran I can appreciate and respect Republican views and even supported a policy here and there. This book is a autobiographical account on why Adam K went into politics what propelled him to vote and support policies. However, like with Liz Cheney I now have a respect I never thought possible for a politician, person and Republican. In knowing his political career might not survive him being on the Jan 6th committee he chose America over his career. let that sink in his very livelihood was sacrificed for sake of our Democracy. He introduced himself in this book and Congressman Kinzinger ND Congresswoman Cheney will be remembered in history as true patriots and will be spoken of in civics classes for years to come.

Patriotism over politics.

Very well written. Provided interesting detail of the horrors of Jan 6 and the frightening behavior of some of those we've given the responsibility of caring for our country. Thank you Adam for your patriotism, courage and dedication to doing the right thing simply because it's the right thing to do.

Hope for the Future

Adam Kinzinger gives me hope for a return to the politics of sanity. The book is self revealing, courageous and often funny. America does have choices and Kinzinger offers us a path of moderation, courage and patriotism. Democrat or Republican means less and less to me and character and fairness more and more. Reading the book was great, listening to it is even better. Hope I someday get to check his name on a national platform ballot. Thank you, Adam for restoring my faith in good people of both parties.

Adam’s story shows us a different American Dream. Not rags to riches, he grew up in a middle class family, but a story of learning, courage, and enlightenment. Adam sidesteps fundamentalist religion and a bent political cult to realize his full potential as a true American Patriot.
