Unknown Letters

Immediately following the death of her young son, distraught and heartbroken, a woman sends a heart-wrenching letter to the only man she has ever loved, chronicling their love affair, opening with, "To you, who have never known me."

With her children evacuated and her husband at the front, Tory Pace is grudgingly sharing the family home with her irascible mother, working at the local gelatin factory - to help the war effort - and generally doing just about as well as could be expected in difficult times. Her quiet life is thrown into turmoil, however, when her prisoner-of-war husband, Donald, makes an outrageous demand for sexual gratification: He wants a dirty letter!

Carta de una desconocida es un retrato duro y descarnado de un amor absoluto, incondicional, secreto y obsesivo no correspondido. Un escritor de éxito recibe una extraña carta el día de su cumpleaños. Esa misiva sin firmar contiene el testimonio de una mujer que le confiesa su amor. Al profundizar en esa confesión que abarca toda una vida, sufrimos por los sentimientos no correspondidos de ella, pero también por la soledad y la carencia de empatía de él.

وجد رؤوف وراندا رسالة غريبة في صندوق البريد الخاص بهما ولم يفهما ما فيها، ثمَّ قادتهما المصادفة إلى سماع حديث بين رجلين في منطقة "الرواق" يتعلّق بالرسالة الغريبة التي وجداها، فتبين بعد ذلك بأنّ هذه الرسالة تتعلق بأنشطة الباشا المشبوهة !!
