This is the fifth of a series of books I have or will be released titled "Italy Then and Now," each dedicated to one of the twenty Italian regions. This book showcases both the Trentino-Alto Adige as well as the Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions' evolution, notable historical and contemporary figures, and unique regional cuisines and wine specialties. Given the relatively small size of the Trentino-Alto Adige and Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions, this book, as an exception, includes both regions.
