Amidst four streams of power — the physical, the emotional, the spiritual, and the magical - The Great War overwhelms a divided island as it exposes the treachery and nobility found in the hearts of mankind. The North and the South have never shared anything but hatred. Centuries of contention and feuds too many to name have kept the two separated as harshly as the disease-ridden wastes of Celeukra which divide their island in half. Yet, kings and peasants are joined together by a hope and belief in the "Prophecy of Power" which promises an inevitable unity under one leader.

The plan of the Nhimyggai has begun to bear fruit as the Ortakij lose trust in their neighbors. Desperate to retain their dominant position and preserve their sense of prophecy as an Ortakij birthright, they cannot stand idly by and watch the Sinzakij and Jaltikij unite into one kingdom.

With conflict becoming inevitable, each group fights hard to preserve their vision for the future of their shared island. The Jaltikij and Sinzakij want only peace while the Ortakij see their neighbors’ actions as a betrayal. Meanwhile, northerners of every type long to see the Akij kingdoms decimated to finally make room for expansion.
