Four Laws

Rob was a police officer in sunny California. He was tired of dealing with trust fund babies and kids with more money than common sense. When he learns that his life would come to an end in six hours but a beautiful goddess gives him the chance to live out the rest of his life in another universe where time works differently he jumps at it. Now he finds himself as a lawman in a frontier town full of beastkin, elves, and orcs.

Rob is a sheriff's deputy faced with a choice: die in a meaningless shootout six hours from now, or accept the offer of a new life in another world offered by a mysterious goddess. But it won't be easy. He has to bring law and order to the wild frontier. The shocks keep coming when he finds out humans aren't native to Olimero. It is a land populated with fierce orcs, wild beastkin, and cunning elves. He may not have their magic, but he does have an edge. As an outsider, he has no cap on his stats. He will need to train, fight, and survive if he wants to rule.

There's a new sheriff in town. Rob has survived the first few weeks. He still doesn't have any magic but all his training has led to a new ability. The prompts call it cultivation, but no one seems to know anything about it. So far he can use it to make himself stronger, faster, better but it's a lot of work. Now he has to juggle the many responsibilities of the sheriff as he tries to make Yonderton a safe place for all the people looking to him.

Little by little Rob has been gaining the strength he needs to protect not only himself, but the family and town he is coming to love. One threat has been removed but a new criminal element has moved into town. This one seems more organized and has Rob scrambling to decipher their plans. Worse: they seem to know things about Rob that even he doesn't. This time freedom is on the line as these new criminals are more interested in convincing Rob to join them than in killing him.

There are threats beyond mere gangs; enemies who don't simply want to control but want nothing more than to kill Rob and everything he has come to love. As Rob's attention is focused on bettering his town, he will have to face treachery, monsters, and questions of the heart. Luckily, he doesn't have to do it alone. He has his deputies and clerks to stand beside him as well as hidden allies he barely understands. This audiobook will bring a conclusion to the first story arc of Rob's adventures in Olimero.

Yonderton is secure. Law and order have been restored. But this is only a tiny corner of the world on the western frontier. Rob's family is growing but so too is the world around him. Now, he will have to explore the untamed lands and learn the secret behind the beast waves.

Home is where the heart is...at least that's what they say. Rob has made a home for himself in Olimero. Now, he finds himself entangled in events outside of the town he has made his own. A tournament, rival gangs, jealous gods, and an expanding family—it's a lot for one man to juggle, especially as his wives each have their own interests.

The tournament is behind them, but it resulted in drawing more attention. The big news flash: Rob isn't the only human in Olimero. Now the organized forces of the East are gathering to crush the man they see as a threat to their way of life. Above, the game of the gods is still in play, but Rob is so close. Soon he will be ready to step onto a new playing field. Let them all beware.

Enemies in both the mortal realm and amongst the gods are coming out. Rob's family has come together, though, and will stand together against all challengers. Now, it's time to show them the final law. Even gods must face the consequences of their actions—and who better to show them than the Sheriff?
