Little by little Rob has been gaining the strength he needs to protect not only himself, but the family and town he is coming to love.
One threat has been removed but a new criminal element has moved into town. This one seems more organized and has Rob scrambling to decipher their plans. Worse: they seem to know things about Rob that even he doesn't.
This time freedom is on the line as these new criminals are more interested in convincing Rob to join them than in killing him.
But Rob isn't the only one struggling with freedom. Mursha the beautiful orc would rather be a blacksmith or a warrior than the domestic path set out by her father.
The investigations are open but Rob won't let the trail grow cold as he tracks down the answers they need.

Looking Forward to Series
Series does good at staying interesting. Glad I started, hope author keeps them coming. Like the magic system being just a step off the path different than others, gives the author something to play with that is always exciting to see where it goes next.

If you liked the book, you will love this
As the heading states, this is as good as the book. The audio version lets the story come alive when those bothersome boring everyday things must get done, thus helping to pass the time in an enjoyable way while those annoying chores get done.

Really glad I stuck with this series
I'm really glad I stuck with this series. MC is still a bit of an idiot, but at least now he has enough power that it doesn't matter so much.
Now if only he could start keeping his promises to the girls... Rob strings along Daria so much I'm doubly convinced this is a fantasy title because any other girl would have left him after getting turned away so much. Seriously, at the beginning she's frustrated that he hasn't made good on his promises and by the end STILL HE HASNT DONE SHIT. She doesn't deserve this crap.

enjoyed
the action and storyline is moving along pretty good this book has less steamy scene however it make it up with more action ones enjoyed reading about to read the last book 😉

My Favorite
Out of all that have been released so fare. This one is by far my absolute favorite. I have listened to it over and over. It still captures my attention when I listen to it still.
