Eclipse

In a world in which Prophets wield the power of wayward gods, a banished woman is determined to regain her own powers and free her people. When Max learned her world and its advanced race posing as gods were not all they seemed, her powers were sealed off by an unbreakable curse. Banished from...

Max and her partner, Nash, fought to free the Valley from the grip of a false god and her Prophet. They succeeded in defeating them, but peace still eludes their land. With the Valley's leadership in shambles, factions rise to seize control, and Max struggles to protect the innocent from the fallout. Now, with the people looking to her to save them, she's caught between protecting the Valley and resisting the call to rule. Worse, she's increasingly afraid that, to maintain order, she'll have to become as ruthless as the Prophet she killed.

Max and her partner, Nash, have built a thriving kingdom in the Valley where Max first defeated the Prophet nine years ago. She knows peace in the Skia Hellig Peninsula is never permanent, but she's determined to secure a prosperous future for her people and her family, including her four-month-old son, Finn, and Nash's thirteen-year-old daughter, Elsie. It's been eight years since a mysterious stranger promised Max's death if she defied the natural order of the gods, and she's no closer to knowing how to defeat him or the overlords he serves.
