Dragon of Shadow and Air

Aella thinks she's leading a normal life in LA, making ends meet as a waitress. Until she finds something she wasn't meant to: A dragon's egg. Now on the run from secret government agents and protecting the vulnerable hatchling, Aella finds there's more to her past and her parents than there seemed. With nowhere to turn, Aella gets help in the unlikeliest of places and has her eyes opened to a secret world of mythical races and creatures living hidden among the humans of the world.

Hiding in the shadows works for Aella and her dragon for a while, but dragons grow. With the world still in the dark about the existence of anything mythical, Aella must try and keep out of sight. But she's living in one of the busiest cities in the world. Is LA really the best place for a dragon and an elf? There's also a price to staying out of sight when the rest of the world can do as they please. Can Aella and Zephyr truly ignore other mythical creatures and the agents who hunt them?

On the run and looking for the invisible, Aella and her dragon are fugitives once more. With nothing but a glowing orb to guide them and the few friends they have left in the world, they embark on the road trip of a lifetime. But is the Sanctuary everything she was promised it would be? The agency doesn't want to give up or admit defeat, and Aella and Zephyr have beaten them twice now. Will they truly let her slip through the net? Or are they going to find her no matter where she hides?

It's not over. Despite revealing the existence of the mythicals to the world, Aella is still hunted by the agency and Jacobs. The Sanctuary isn't fairing much better either. With almost as many problems and the media scrutiny on top of it, Aella has to decide what she is and how the world is going to see her. Can she continue to keep the mythicals safe while also winning over the public? Has Jacobs found mythicals willing to serve his cause as well.

With the Sanctuary under threat and the agency showing they'll stop at nothing to detain mythicals and disappear them, Aella finds herself on the front lines once more. But this time the whole world is watching. Up against an agency director who appears to have unlimited resources and no hesitation in doctoring film and lying to make Aella look bad, she must be above reproach. Can she save the mythicals in need of her help without harming a single agent or soldier? And will the Sanctuary stand with her finally?

Is the law always right? Aella and Zephyr were set up and arrested for murders they didn't commit. With the whole world looking on, can they prove their innocence? Jacobs is determined to ruin Aella no matter what. Can she stand up to him without endangering more human lives? Also, why does Jacobs hate mythicals so much? Aella is determined to find out before she takes him down. One person can help Aella sort out this mess, but will he even care?

Once you eliminate your biggest enemy, your life should settle down, right? Jacobs is gone, and part-elf Aella and her mythical friends are taking a breather. But should Aella really relax? The current balance of power favors humans, and some of the elves are willing to do whatever it takes to make sure the mythicals came out on top. They go after Aella, but do they want her dead or only out of the way? Aella has to stand for justice once more, but will her new allies help or hinder her?

Still reeling from being a captive in an underground lair, Aella has more problems than solutions and they just keep getting worse. With the elven homeworld just a portal jump away and a powerful cult intent on opening one, can Aella face her fears once more and stand in their way? Will they finally get the better of her? Or is her limited training enough to hold them at bay? New discoveries are only going to make the problem worse, pushing the boundaries of everything she believed possible.
