The Works of Bonaventure is a collection of writings by the Middle Ages Cardinal and Saint Bonaventure. This particular compilation is a collection of five of Bonaventure's most respected works dealing with the individual's journey toward God, prayer, meditation, the life and Passion of Christ, and the life of piety and faith. Among his many writings include the five works published here: The Journey of the Mind to God; The Triple Way, or Love Enkindled; The Tree of Life; The Mystical Vine; and On the Perfection of Life, Addressed to Sisters.

Two great works attributed to the great Jesse Livermore presented together in one volume with a new foreword by Juliette Rogers. Both contain interesting insights into Livermore’s life and times as well as the reasons for his success. They remain classics and must a must listen for every new aspirant in the world of speculation.

Melchizedek and the Mystery of Fire is a short work by mystic and occultist Manly P. Hall. It explores the symbolism of ancient rituals in Christianity, and their sources in earlier religions and cultural traditions. Incorporating ritual and legend from great ancient civilizations as varied as India, China, Mexico, and Japan, Hall demonstrates that the truth of humanity is rooted in similar stories across these cultures, and has continued into Biblical allegory. It also explains the human body's "occult anatomy", giving meaning and symbolism to our very organs and glands.

Love Gratitude (1952) is a collection of two essays by Joel S. Goldsmith, a mystical teacher, spiritual healer, and writer. Goldsmith was the creator of a set of principles called "The Infinite Way," which taught that man's nature was to be one with God and to express his infinite power and love.

Way to Inner Peace, published in 1954, explores eight different themes on the path to a life of contentment and serenity. By “recognizing our own littleness in comparison to what we ought to be”, we both recognize the greatness of God and find more patience with the faults within ourselves and others. When we overlook good in favor of scandal and misdeeds, we invite these evils into our hearts. When we have the humility to look inward, view our faults with an open eye, and beg God’s help and forgiveness, then we are at our best.

Letters by a Modern Mystic is a collection of excerpts from the letters of missionary Frank C. Laubach. Written between January 1930 and January 1932, these intimate writings show a faithful man's work to become closer to God through daily, hourly, and minute-by-minute practice.

The Cross and the Beatitudes is one of Archbishop Sheen's earlier works, first published in 1937. This special book draws a parallel between the first seven Beatitudes and Christ's final Seven Words. The final Seven Words are the few sentences and phrases that Jesus Christ spoke while on the Cross. Assigning a chapter to each pairing of early Beatitude and final Word, Archbishop Sheen shows how Christ spoke the Word early in His Ministry, lived according to the Beatitudes throughout His life, and stayed faithful to their precepts on the Cross.

Showmanship for Magicians is a 1943 work by semi-professional magician and author Dariel Fitzkee. It is the first in the Fitzkee Trilogy, a classic collection that is still read widely by magicians, conjurors, and illusionists alike.

In his 1934 book, The Science and Fine Art of Fasting, Herbert M. Shelton outlined his theory that fasting is a key component in promoting healing. The book’s ideas run counter to the well-known conventional wisdom that those who are sick must eat to “keep up their strength” and posits that fasting is a natural part of the rhythm of life.

The book is split into five parts, spanning views of history from Herodotus in the Greco-Roman times through the advent and ascendency of Christianity, the Enlightenment, and the 19th Century. Collingwood considered history a science of human affairs mingled with psychology. He argues that to understand the past, the historian must use their "historical imagination" to recreate the thought process of the actors. By reliving the past in their own mind, the historian can discover the significant patterns and dynamics of previous civilizations.

This three-book volume by Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen includes Preface to Religion (1946), The Life of Christ (1958), and The Priest Is Not His Own (1963). These three works seek to educate both the new follower of Christ and the lifelong devotee on their place in the world and their responsibilities to God and their fellow human beings.

Herbert Shelton was, in many ways, a man ahead of his own time. Born at the close of the 20th century, Shelton was an adherent of the Hygienic movement and a tireless advocate of alternative medicine. Throughout his life he opposed mainstream medical practices; he warned that drugs were being over-prescribed, and that hospitalization often made sick patients get sicker. Shelton dedicated his life to offering a different approach to health. More than anything else, Shelton emphasized the need to become attuned to the natural processes of the body.

The History of Magic (1913) is an extensive work on the origins of ceremonial magic throughout the world's many cultures and religions. Written by mystic and occultist Éliphas Lévi and translated by British scholar A.E. Waite, this is a foundational book for any student of the occult.

Metaphysical Healing is a short work by the healer, mystic, and educator Joel S. Goldsmith. It explores the true nature of self as an infinite spiritual consciousness that brings forth health, peace, and joy. Goldsmith was born in 1892 in New York City. His experiences as a Marine in World War I, and the great suffering and pain he observed on his business travels led him to ask fundamental questions about humanity and God. He began a course of inquiry, searching for universal truth. As a spiritual scholar, he studied writings from ancient Greek, Sanskrit, and Aramaic cultures.

Victory Over Vice (1939) is one of several books by Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen exploring the seven last words of Christ during His Crucifixion. In this short work, Archbishop Sheen considers each of the final utterances of Christ from the perspective of one of the capital sins. He demonstrates how each phrase proves the purity of Jesus Christ, and he uses each as an instruction on how we, too, can overcome these mortal vices.

The Emerald Tablet of Hermes & Kybalion compose two pillars of Hermetic thought. Combined here in one volume, these two works share true wisdom with those ready to receive it. The Kybalion was first published anonymously in 1908 by “The Three Initiates.” The true authorship of the work is unknown, although theories suggest it was written entirely or in part by William Walker Atkinson. The Emerald Tablet of Hermes is a short, ancient text attributed to Hermes Trismegistus. The brief Emerald Tablet has been puzzling and fascinating scholars for over 1,000 years.

Gilbert Keith Chesterton has become synonymous with modern Christian apologetics. But his impact goes beyond just those interested in a defense of Christian thought. His writings have influenced such diverse authors as C.S. Lewis, Marshall McLuhan, and Jorge Luis Borges, and remains a subtle and unseen presence in contemporary Catholic thought. At his funeral, Ronald Knox said "All of this generation has grown up under Chesterton's influence so completely that we do not even know when we are thinking Chesterton."

The Priest Is Not His Own asks the Catholic priest to view himself as not only a shepherd of his flock, but as a victim, just as Christ was a victim. Unlike priests of other faiths who offered sacrifices of animals and other men to the gods, Christ offered himself as the sacrifice that would save all mankind. While Archbishop Sheen doesn’t ask the priest to sacrifice his earthly life, he does ask him to sacrifice his entire soul to Christ on the Cross in every Mass and his entire body to Christ with the breaking of bread.
