Fulton J. Sheen - bishop, scholar, professor, radio and television personality, and writer - spent his life sharing the Word of God with millions of Christians across the world. One of his best-known works is The Life of Christ, written in 1954. This book explores the foretelling of Christ's birth, his life, temptations, death, and resurrection. Through careful scholarship, he connects the events of Christ's life, showing how even the humble location of his birth on Earth shared an important lesson: Divinity is always where we least expect to find it.

this book is a summary of The Life of Christ as viewed by most reverent Bishop Colton Sheen. it's great that this man is an American. it's great to have both a Catholic and an American perspective in the English language examining the life of our savior. there's not one word in this book that is wasted. you will enjoy this book and give it a chance God bless you

Sheen is the Cleric of our times

No one is clearer and more thought provoking nor more faithful to the gospel than Bishop Sheen! This is a great short book with deep insights into the Passion and Resurrection. Great find.

Excellent short review of the LIFE of JESUS CHRIST

I listened to the whole book on Palm Sunday as a preparation for Holy Week. I will definitely listen again and highly recommend.

A Very Thought Provoking Work From The 1950s

I greatly appreciated this work. The author was a Catholic Bishop from the 1950s. He was a renowned theologian who I specifically recall teaching on the radio. This work is similar in construct to a series of lectures or homilies. I liked it very much. I did proceed slowly. Although it is clearly written and very well read, there is much fuel for thought and I needed to take my time to digest it in pieces. Thank You….

Fulton Sheen at his best

Narration was graceful. Just the right amount emphasis, and a similar pacing to Sheen's own delivery. I've enjoyed it twice. Will probably again.
