Lizzy Kingham elsker julen. Når duften af julebag spreder sig, og julelysene funkler, føler hun sig altid varm og lykkelig. Men i år er det anderledes. Dagene op til jul føles som hårdt arbejde snarere end hygge, og Lizzy begynder i det stille at undre sig … Hvad ville der mon ske, hvis hun simpelthen droppede julen?
