Karen plays on the Krushers softball team. One day when the Krushers are in a game, Karen hits a home run! So she starts calling herself Home Run Karen. But that jinxes Karen, and she can't hit at all. She even strikes out. How can Karen march with the Krushers in the big parade when she's nothing but a strikeout queen?

Missy Piggle-Wiggle is finally starting to feel settled in at the upside-down house, and the families in town have come to trust her magical cures for all sorts of childhood (mis)behavior, just like her great-aunt. But right when everything is going so well, a terrible storm blasts through Little Spring Valley, damaging the upside-down house. Now the house is in need of repair (and isn't happy about it one bit), and money is becoming pretty tight for Missy. But now it's Dawn's turn to shine: Mrs. Pike has asked her to help prepare Margo and Claire for the Little Miss Stoneybrook contest! Dawn's going to do everything she can to help her charges win, even if Margo's only talent is peeling a banana with her feet. But then Kristy, Mary Anne, and Claudia are helping Karen, Myriah, and Charlotte enter the contest, too. It's hard to tell whether the competition is fiercer at the pageant - or in the BSC!

When Kristy Thomas has the great idea to form a baby-sitters club - a chance to earn money and spend time with her friends, all while doing something they each love to do - she has no idea how much the club will change everything. Crank calls, uncontrollable toddlers, wild pets, untruthful clients...running a business is hard work! Kristy and her co-founders, Mary Anne, Claudia, and Stacey, are sure they can handle anything. But only if they stick together....

Oh no! Stacey McGill is moving back to New York! That means no more Stoneybrook Middle School, no more Charlotte Johanssen, and worst of all...no more Baby-Sitters Club!

Asking her older brother Charlie to train her softball team over spring break, Kristy is convinced that Charlie is a great coach, until he meets Angelica and is no longer able to pay attention to the kids.

Lately, the pressure's really been on Stacey. She hasn't been feeling well, her schoolwork and baby-sitting jobs are almost out of control, and she's sick of being in the middle of her parents' fights. Then it happens: Stacey ends up in the hospital because of her diabetes. The baby-sitters are worried. So is Stacey. Why are things always so hard?

After Kristy's mom got married, her family moved to Watson's house in a new neighborhood. But the kids there aren't very friendly - in fact, they're total snobs! They criticize Kristy's clothes, make fun of the Baby-Sitters Club...and worst of all, they laugh at Louie, Kristy's pet collie, who's going blind. Nobody does that and gets away with it! Kristy's fighting mad, and she's not going to put up with a Snob Attack any longer - and neither is the BSC!

Mallory Pike has always wanted to be a member of the Baby-Sitters Club - they're so much fun to be around, and she's practically a baby-sitter already. Now the club members have invited Mallory to a meeting. This might be her big chance! But the BSC isn't making it easy - they make Mal feel like a baby on a job, and make her take an impossible written test. Mallory's beginning to think she doesn't want to be a part of the BSC...or maybe she and her new friend Jessi should start a club of their own. It's time to show those baby-sitters what a couple of new girls can do!

Joining the Mathletes and feeling confident after her first math meet triumph, Stacey is troubled when her father gets tickets to a huge rock concert on the same night of the Mathletes championship.

Loving the holiday season but hating its commercialism, Mallory coordinates an old-fashioned family Christmas of baking and trimming that attracts media attention, but Mallory begins to fear that the chaotic film crews will spoil her plans.

As the newest member of the BSC, Dawn is eager to prove herself. So when a big job comes along, she jumps at the chance to show everyone what she's made of. The Barretts are even more challenging than Dawn expected. The house is a mess, Mrs. Barrett is unreliable, and the kids are out of control. Dawn knows she's a great baby-sitter, but this is impossible! She only knows one thing for sure - a member of the BSC never gives up!

Kristy's newest sitting job is challenging. Ten-year-old Erin was recently blinded in an accident and is not ready to rely on people. At the same time, Kristy's family is training a puppy to be a guide dog.

Jessi learns a hard lesson about being deliberately cruel to another person when she sings a song mocking Mr. Trout, the shy, geeky teacher who wears a bad toupee.
