The Silver Chair by C.S. Lewis was the fourth published of the seven novels that make up The Chronicles of Narnia (1950-1956), but is marked volume six in those editions that are sequenced according to the Narnian chronology. The story takes place decades after The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, when Aslan summons Eustace Scrubb and his classmate Jill Pole to help in the quest of finding the missing Prince Rillian, son and heir of King Caspian. After a journey filled with many dangers, they confront the witch who must be defeated in order to save Prince Rillian’s life.

For C. S. Lewis, reason and logic are the sensible way to approach faith and ethics. Much of the 20th century's ills are caused by ill-founded beliefs and opinions. Lewis' original approach remains as vital today as ever. He is able to take the most convoluted subject, turn it side on and shed bright illumination on it. To be able to see along things rather than at them - just like a beam of sunlight that invades the darkness of a toolshed - is, to Lewis, the way to understanding.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis is a 1950 fantasy novel for children. It is the best known of the seven novels that comprise The Chronicles of Narnia (1950-1956). Most of the story is set in Narnia, a land of talking animals and mythical creatures which is ruled by the wicked White Witch. The narrative starts with four English siblings being relocated to a large country house following a wartime evacuation. They visit Narnia through a wardrobe, and become involved in its affairs and its history by helping to bring freedom to the land.

Every other miracle prepares the way for this, or results from this.'This is the key statement of Miracles, in which C. S. The Four Loves (1960) by C. S. Lewis explores the nature of love from a Christian theological perspective. Making a careful distinction between “like” and “love", the author first defines the terms. The discussion is based on four Greek words for love: storgē, philía, éros, and agápe. These four types are friendship, affection, erotic love, and charity, or the love of God. Lewis defines each of these types of love and how they affect our lives. Lewis considers affection, friendship, and eros as natural loves, while charity is supernatural since it is closest to the form of love which is defined by the expression “God is love”. Lewis examines each of the four loves in detail, including their benefits and potential dangers.

The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis is a fantasy children's novel by C. S. Lewis, and the sixth published of seven novels in The Chronicles of Narnia, to which it serves as a prequel. Set in England, the narrative’s frame story features two children involved in experimental travel through a wood between the worlds which gives access to a multiverse.

The Last Battle by C.S. Lewis is the final novel in the Narnia series. The story is set some 2500 Narnian years since the creation of the world as told in The Magician's Nephew. A false Aslan is set up in the borderlands, and conflict ensues between true and false Narnians and between Narnia and Calormen, whose people worship the malevolent Tash.

The 1945 novel, The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis is a classic Christian allegorical tale, inspired by a dream. A meditation on good and evil, the book presents a novel idea on the Christian conception of heaven and hell. Drawing on the works of St. Augustine, Dante Alighieri, John Milton, John Bunyan, Emanuel Swedenborg, and Lewis Carroll, the author describes a hell where the gates are locked on the inside.

Prince Caspian by C.S. Lewis is the fourth book in the series The Chronicles of Narnia. The old Narnia is gone, and the land is ruled by the tyrant Miraz. The Pevensie children become involved with the fate of a young man known as Prince Caspian, who is fleeing from his uncle, the evil Miraz. Wild adventure follow while a host of new characters appear, like the mouse Reepicheep. With the assistance and guidance of the lion Aslan, Narnia is saved from the clutches of Miraz.

In The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, the younger two of the four English children featured in the first two Narnia books, return to the kingdom. The ship The Dawn Treader was built by King Caspian for a voyage to find the seven lords banished by his evil Uncle Miraz when he usurped the throne. The journey takes Edmund, Lucy, and their cousin Eustace to the Eastern Islands beyond the Silver Sea, en route to Aslan's country at the End of the World. Each island they visit has its own story so the narrative almost reads like a series.

The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis, was the fifth to be published in The Chronicles of Narnia series. The story is set in the period covered by the last chapter of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe during the reign of the four children as monarchs of Narnia. The main characters are two children and two talking horses who escape from Calormen and travel north into Narnia. On their journey, they learn of the Prince of Calormen's plan to invade Archenland, and warn the King of Archenland of the impending attack.
