It was 1862, and what a year it was. A man by the name of Jesse Wells was about to become a legend, but not the kind of legend to be proud of. Jesse had a mean temper, and when the Saloon doors swung open things got quiet, and people scattered. Jesse would enter the Saloon, spit a wad of tobacco juice on the floor, and shoot his six-shooter in the air and say, "Where's my whiskey?"

One night when Jimmie was spending the night at his grandparent's house his grandfather told him he was going to make the graveyard story more vivid, but would try to reassure him that it was all make believe. Jimmie went along with his grandfather's plan, but was unaware that his grandparents were Witches.

It was 1883 and the little town of Brickport where Dr. Moorehead had been practicing medicine for many years started getting complaints from his patients. The doctor had a little alcohol problem that wouldn't go away, and it was showing by bad diagnosis that didn't go unnoticed by his patients, which ultimately led to his practice being suspended indefinitely.

It was Halloween Night and Damon was excited about trying out his new Halloween prop in his front yard next to the busy road that ran in front of his house. He was putting on the finishing touches to his new prop when some friends from school decided to drop by and check out his new prop he had been bragging about at school all day. His friends Steve, Jack and Karen rode together in the same car and pulled into Damon's driveway and watched as Damon was practicing slipping the noose around his neck.

Jenny was so excited that Mike asked her to be his girlfriend. She was a cheerleader and Mike was the star quarterback at their high school. They were so in love, and ready to get more serious, and one day get married and start a family of their own, but that dream would never come to light because of what was about to unfold that night.

Damn. My head hurt. This can't happen again. Of course, I'd said the same thing the two other times someone had used my dome for a kettledrum. But this time I'd had it. Three years in the business with no trouble and now I'd suffered five attacks in the last six months. I wasn't taking any more of it.

It was June and what a perfect month for a wedding. Dan and Melissa had been dating for several years and Dan finally popped the question she had been anticipating for over a year. She thought that day would never come, but it finally did and when Dan asked her to marry him she said, "Yes! Yes!" and they shared a long kiss. This story starts in 1934 and has Matt telling of his beginnings in the Chicago Police Department, his move to Los Angeles, his beginnings in the Los Angeles Police Department, his first marriage to Stella and life after her death.

It's a long holiday weekend and Clay Cooper decides to take his son, Elliott fishing. As they sit there peacefully in the boat, Elliott sneezes and Clay automatically says, 'Bless you,' prompting Elliott to question the whole superstitious custom and how it came to be. By the time he's finished explaining it to Dad, Dad has some questions of his own.

Dan Edwards was getting sick and tired of everybody dying around him and having to attend so many funerals.
