Nath Dragon and his allies must take on the all-powerful Titan Army at the Dragon Home, aka the Mountain of Doom. But can he and Selene escape the Deep in time? Nath Dragon's father, Balzurth, has disappeared and delivered himself into the hands the titan leader, Eckubahn. It's up to Nath Dragon and his comrades to save his father before the entire world of Nalzambor is turned upside down. In the meantime, the elves and dwarves are still hunting Nath Dragon. More enemies rise ...The ruthless titans begin to put the squeeze on the people of Nalzambor in their search for Nath Dragon and his father Balzurth. Eckubahn, the titan king and ruler of the giants will stop at nothing to destroy the both of them. In his stead Eckubahn employs Rybeck, a cunning warrior with a deep grudge against Nath Dragon. The vengeful fighter takes his quest to heart. Reunited, Nath and his father, Balzurth, become closer.

With the dragon king Balzurth, dead at the hands of the titans Eckubahn and Isobahn, it's up to Nath Dragon to take his father's throne. The task makes him uneasy as he must lead the dragons against the evil forces of the titans and wurmers. Inside his gut, Nath knows that something is wrong. How can he be the dragon king when he can't even turn into a dragon himself? His doubts continue to consume him.

Reinstated by the FBI, Smoke and Sid launch an investigation into the source of the swarming dragons. In abandoned warehouses on the fringe of the city, dragon hounds and draykis lie in wait to trap the heroes. Meanwhile, a notorious gang of shapeshifting slave traders snatches Sam and Mandi, putting Abraham, Guppy, and Streak on the hunt for the wicked meddlers.

Fighting for any small victory they can muster against the forces of evil, the Blood Brothers find themselves up against an old nemesis as new darker foes rise.

Smoke, Sid, Abraham, and their allies see the writing on the wall. They have one focus—use Boon’s portals to seek and destroy their foes before it’s too late. But the unpredictable portals bring trouble as people from other worlds arrive, posing nefarious problems. It will take more than armies to defeat Black Frost and his diabolical minions, who continue to grow in strength in power. With their backs against the wall, Grey Cloak, Dyphestive, and Streak take on an improbable mission through the Time Mural to recover an artifact of mass destruction that’s been hidden for centuries. Meanwhile, in Arrowwood, Bowbreaker finds himself in the fight of his life to liberate his elven people.

The newly full-fledged members of Talon, the brothers Grey Cloak and Dyphestive, are faced with a decision. Seeking greener pastures will surely bring about pain and suffering, but Grey Cloak wants no part of his new role in the secret dragon war.
