Story
Kirby Burns is about to have the second worst day of his life. Tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of the worst day of his life, and in the 364 days since then he hasn't stopped running: from his family, his memories, and the horse-sized farm dogs that chase him to the bus stop every morning. But he can't run forever, and as This Might Hurt a Bit begins, Kirby and his friends PJ and Jake sneak out of his house to play a prank whose consequences follow them to school the next day, causing a chain reaction of mayhem and disaster.

Story
School is just like a film set: there's The Crew, who make things happen; The Extras, who fill the empty desks; and The Movie Stars, whom everyone wants tagged in their Facebook photos. But Jude doesn't fit in. He's not part of The Crew because he isn't about to do anything unless it's court-appointed; he's not an Extra because nothing about him is anonymous; and he's not a Movie Star because even though everyone knows his name like an A-lister, he isn't invited to the cool parties.

Story
American twins Bud and Lindy move to England when their father's transferred there. When their English grandmother becomes ill, the twins stay with their Aunt Edythe and Uncle Clifford. Uncle Clifford writes and illustrates a series of children's books about the little people called the Turnipins. Much to the children's surprise, they find in the woods a small door attached to a tree fronting a hill. Inside they discover that the Turnipins are real!-even if they can only appear in their real guise to children.
