Here are two short stories by Anton Chekhov, one of the greatest writers of all time. Today he is remembered both as a brilliant playwright and one of the masters of short fiction. "The Kiss" and "The Problem" are prime examples of the latter.

Uncle Vanya is a play by the Russian playwright Anton Chekhov. It was first published in 1897.
