Well...it's really V-Day: a political movement to draw attention to women's rights that is celebrated on Valentine's Day - and that Susie looks at through the eyes of a sports fan. Susie looks at the feminist wars, conservative movements, "I am vagina hear me roar," violence against women, and misogyny. V-Day is part of the movement, organized by Eve Ensler, called One Billion Rising.

Susie starts off today's show with an announcement about her newest book: Mother-Daughter Sex Advice. Then we meet "Sybil", a former stripper, and finally Susie has helpful advice about how to live with herpes and enjoy sex.

Reality TV has done it again! There's a new show about gay Mormons who don't engage in gay sex. Susie asks: How is everyone not feeling cheated here? She reads from Emma Green's Atlantic article about the TLC special My Husband's Not Gay, which profiles couples that include a straight wife who defends her gay husband. The claim is that he's not gay but experiences "same sex attraction". Susie's big beef here is how exploitative these shows are, and how they create a hubbub over what really deserves little attention.

Today, Susie has an interview with Eric Schaefer, author of Sex Scene: Media and the Sexual Revolution. Professor Schaefer teaches at Emerson College in the Visual and Media Arts Department. His new book looks at exploitation and sexploitation within films, tabloids, novels, and audio recordings. Chapters include "Wet Dreams", "Porn Goes to College", "Beefcake to Hardcore", and "33 1/3 Sexual Revolutions Per Minute", to name a few. Susie and Eric discuss the origins of X ratings, Jane Fonda's movie orgasms, Swedish erotica, Russ Myer's nudies, and more.

With special effects, the movie industry can make it seem like A-list stars are actually doing it, but no, says Susie - it's done by doubles who work in porn films.

On today's show, Susie answers two listener letters. We'll go from talking about sex trafficking to what's so bad about being non-monogamous. Our first writer asks Susie why she has such a different take on the wrongs of sex work compared with so many other public voices. Susie happily lays out her claim that too many people manipulate the reality of sex workers. Yes, sex trafficking is criminal and one of the cruelest forms of slavery - but don't lump sex work in general into one huge, despicable ball. Susie hates to see so many people falling for slickly made videos that blur the line between prostitution and sex trafficking.

From Susie's "Try This at Home" mailbag, we have a question from a Vassar College listener who read an article in the Huffington Post and wants to know if it's really true. "If anal sex is the latest craze on college campuses, how can I get some?"

In the this-can't-be-true department, Susie has a real doozy: a guy who calls himself the Double Dick Dude who recently proved that, yes, he really does have two penises. The website Reddit.com features a online forum where unusual people answer questions from subscribers. Double Dick spent a few days there answering a lot of enquiries and quickly became a sensation. Really. Can you imagine? Susie reads some of the questions and responses, and thinks you will fall madly in love with our new Lord and Master.

Actor Michael Douglas recently claimed that oral sex caused his throat cancer. Susie reads from an article in The Guardian newspaper that reveals some candid facts about the Hollywood bigwig. Douglas says that HPV, human papillomavirus, is what did him in. Susie takes a more skeptical look at his claims, saying cunnilingus doesn't cause cancer. Susie also looks at the HPV vaccine and how the sexually transmitted HPV virus can be spread.

Susie has been busy traveling around the country on her new book tour. Her memoir Big Sex, Little Death is out in the stores, and today Susie offers some stories from the road.
