As a young man in the east African nation of Rwanda, Cedric Muhikira was interested in construction and went to college to become a civil engineer. But he knew that to reach the pinnacle of success in that field, he had to study and practice in the United States. He emigrated in 2019, just in time for the COVID pandemic.
