About Michael's Collection

“The five books in my collection speak to the power of storytelling and the challenge to love ourselves. Although we as humans continue to evolve and change, the social commentary encapsulated here is sadly still so relevant today. I hope listening to these authors' works will prove the power of our voices while offering inspiration and practical ways to actively resist internalizing racism, classism, and patriarchy.” —Michael Tubbs
