  • Ep. 15: What are Grounding Practices? Here's Some To Try If You Want
    Apr 15 2026

In this episode, we’re talking about grounding practices… like, what the heck are they anyway? I break down what grounding actually is, why it matters, and how you can use it in real life when your mind starts spiraling or stress takes over.

This isn’t about being perfect or having it all figured out. I’m sharing what I’m learning right alongside you, so you can take what works, leave what doesn’t, and build your own tool belt of support.

Also, just a reminder (because we all need it): You’re doing better than you think.

What You’ll Learn in This Episode
    • What grounding actually means (in real-life terms)
    • Why your brain spirals—and how to interrupt it
    • How to bring yourself back to the present moment
    • Simple ways to retrain your mind and nervous system
    • How to shift from overwhelm → clarity → calm

  • Ep. 14: Why Self Improvement Feels Worse Before it Gets Better
    Apr 8 2026

Today, I’m talking about something that comes up for all of us on a self-growth journey...the feeling that you’re somehow going backwards.

You start doing all the “right” things like meditating, journaling, moving your body, and showing up for yourself. But instead of feeling better, everything feels harder.

I’ve been there. We talk about:

    • Why self-improvement can feel worse before it feels better
    • What’s actually happening when your mind feels busier than ever
    • The “wave” pattern of growth (and why it’s not linear)
    • How each low point isn’t failure—it’s strength-building
    • Why awareness is the real work
    • The connection between emotional growth and “adding weight to the bar.”
    • Letting go of perfection and embracing real, human progress

I also open up about my personal journey through addiction and healing, and how showing up again and again (and again and again) completely changed my life. You're not alone, no matter where you are on your journey. Let's dive in.

  • Ep. 13: How to Deal with Rude People And Not Ruin Your Vibe
    Apr 1 2026

I used to let one rude comment ruin my entire day. Maybe you’ve been there too; replaying it, questioning yourself, wondering what you did wrong.

In this episode, I’m sharing a real-life moment that stopped me in my tracks (literally… in line for sourdough bread), and how it became a powerful reminder:

When someone is rude to you, it's a reflection of their inner chaos and not a reflection on your worth.

We’re talking about what’s actually happening when someone lashes out, how to stop internalizing other people’s energy, and simple, real-life ways to respond without losing yourself in the process.

Because protecting your peace doesn’t mean being passive, it means staying rooted in who you are.

What We Chat About in This Episode
    • Why rude behavior is often a reflection of internal overwhelm—not your worth
    • How to stop absorbing other people’s emotions
    • A simple mindset shift that creates instant space in heated moments
    • The difference between empathy and over-identifying with someone else’s pain
    • Practical ways to respond to rudeness without escalating the situation

  • Ep. 12: Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself (Quick Teachings from Dr. Joe Dispenza)
    Mar 25 2026

In this short episode, I’m sharing a few teachings from Dr. Joe Dispenza that really made me pause and think differently about change.

One of the ideas that stuck with me is this: sometimes we don’t fall back into old habits because we want to… we fall back because our body has memorized the emotion.

Over time, the body becomes familiar with certain emotional states, like stress, frustration, guilt, and worry. Eventually, those emotions become automatic. Even when we want something different, our nervous system pulls us back into what it knows.

Dr. Joe calls this “the habit of being yourself.”

In this episode, I talk about how we can begin interrupting that pattern by bringing awareness to our triggers, practicing small daily resets, and intentionally feeling the emotions of the person we want to become. Let's Dive In!

  • Ep. 11: The 5 Laws of the Universe - A Simple Way to Think About Reality
    Mar 18 2026

In this episode, I’m talking about a set of ideas that have fascinated me for a long time: The Five Laws of the Universe, as shared through Darryl Anka’s channelings.

Whether you see these teachings as spiritual philosophy, metaphysical exploration, or simply a framework for thinking about life differently, they offer a really interesting way to look at how reality works.

What I love about these laws is how simple they are (I've added them to my morning meditation!) and how much they explain about our experience as human beings and the "here and now."

These five ideas suggest that reality isn’t random. Instead, it operates through a few core principles that shape how we experience life, time, connection, and change. Let's Dive In!

  • Ep. 10: What Does It Really Mean To "Live in the Present?"
    Mar 11 2026

We hear the phrase “all we have is the present moment” all the time.

But if that’s true… what about our memories? What about the stories people tell about our past? What about photos, experiences, and everything we’ve already lived?

In this episode, I explore a deeper way of understanding what people really mean when they say the present is all we have...and why this idea can be incredibly empowering rather than limiting.

  • Ep. 9: How Separate Beds Saved Our Relationship
    Mar 4 2026

This episode might surprise you. In this episode, I’m sharing how sleeping in separate beds (sometimes separate rooms) quite literally saved our marriage.

Not because we were failing, but because we wanted our relationship to survive and thrive.

    We talk about:

    • Why poor sleep was slowly eroding our patience
    • The resentment that builds when your nervous system never fully resets
    • Why “good couples sleep in the same bed” is a cultural script we don’t question
    • How honoring what our bodies needed changed everything
    • The difference between intimacy and proximity
    • Why rest is relational

I also share the emotional side of this decision: the guilt, the fear of what people would think, and the identity shift that came with choosing what worked for us rather than what looked “normal.”

If you’ve ever felt tension rise because you’re overstimulated, overtired, or just needing space to breathe, this one is for you.

Sometimes marriage isn’t saved by more talking. It’s saved by sleeping more.

You’re not broken. You might just need better rest.
