  • Episode 73 | What is happening to my family?
    Mar 31 2026
Do you ever wonder why you family seems to fall apart after the loss of a child? It turns out that you are not alone. When communication breaks down, so can the family. Grief is messy. We all grieve differently, and that can lead to a lot of confusion and hurt feelings within a family. Husbands and wives grieve differntly, and this can lend itself to miscommunication and hurt feelings.

In this episode, we talk about ways families can communicate better so they can work through their grief together.

  • Episode 71 | I can't do this, but I have to
    Mar 17 2026
When grief feels overwhelming, we feel like we just can't go on doing the things that still need done. The reality is that we need to go on. Ideally, someone will come alongside you and say, "You don't need to do this right now because I've got your back."

However, many of us don't have a prince charming to come into our lives and do our laundry, cook our meals, and do homework with our kids or grandkids. In this episode, we share ways that we can move forward with our grief, even when it is crippling.

  • Episode 69 | No time frame for the hurt to subside
    Mar 3 2026
We all are desperate for the pain and hurt to go away after losing a child. For the longest time we feel "numb," barely able to get by. We desperately want to know when we will turn the corner and start feeling more normal again.

What we leaned is that there is no specific time frame. Each of us is different. We think differently, process giref differently, and our child was wildly unique. Grief takes time, plain and simple. In this episode, we talk about gentle ways we can process through our grief on our own time frame.

We can slip in and out of the fog over the course of years, but that's not all bad news. Once we learn to recognize it, we can navagate and manage our grief better.

If you want to learn more about navagating the foggy abyss, see chapter 1 of my book, Child Loss: The Heartbreak and the Hope: https://amzn.to/49E3tP6
