  • NC 15: Wisdom of the Land – Danielle MacMartin & Charles Body
    Mar 27 2024

I recorded this conversation just before I launched Nutritious Conversations and it’s one I’m really stoked to now bring to life on the podcast. Danni is my sister and one of the most incredible Sol’s I know. She has such a passion for life and this permeates into all facets of her beautiful presence. Danni’s partner Charles encapsulates such a healthy expression of the Sacred Masculine. His ability to hold space, not just in their relationship, but in his absolute passion for the land, flora and fauna of this beautiful earth is humbling. I love these two Sol’s immensely and am honoured to be their kin.

This conversation is one that will present a deeper enquiry of how do we be the best stewards of supporting Mother Nature? There are some challenging insight brought forward around how human’s have facilitated the damaging of the land over tens of thousands of years.

Danni and Charles live on the south coast of NSW. Their three hundred and sixty acre farm was right in the middle of the path of the fire storm that hit there several years ago. The decimation of native species from one burning event, eludes to asking the question, “Is fire the best way to manage earths environment?”. Couple this with, the pillaging farming practices and the hijacking and perversion of words such as sustainable, natural and organic, we are now at a unique crossroads in the trajectory of our land.

This is a great conversation to sit and listen to with an openness, that invites you to question popular narratives around the future of land management.

    Big Love Duncan

The intent for these recordings is to be unhomogenised and unpasteurised conversations that aligns with real life. The falling over words, the poise and challenge in moments to understand how to verbalise what’s wanting to come forward, is part of the realness of nutrient dense conversations. So, with that, I have to say I’m embracing and enjoying watching my own clunkiness as I explore my expression through this space. I hope you too hold space for yourself, friends, family, strangers yet to know and myself as we navigate enriched conversations on this journey.

Give me a rating, drop a comment, and share these nutrient dense conversations if they land with you.

  • NC 10: Sacred Masculine Embodied - Radical Ownership - James Greenshield
    Feb 18 2024

“If we stop saying “I am traumatized” and instead say I’m in a massive period of shifting right now. That has to cause a collapse to occur. Trauma is the collapse of the framework that I currently understand life from.” – James Greenshield

From my first connection with James about 10 years ago, as a guest presenter for “Grab Life By The Balls”, I’ve found him to be a beacon of inspiration and a demonstration of the Sacred Masculine. James had a massive career of 17 years in the Australian Army, training and leading over 100 men into Iraq. A roadside bomb exploding under his vehicle kicked him into a direction of a deep invitation to know himself. At the point of having a stellar career mapped out and a significant safety net (James articulates this as above him not below him) and reaching the opportunity to be promoted into the rank of Lieutenant Colonel he stepped away, but more so toward his place on the planet.

I’ve had many thoughts and conversations with friends in the past about where is the patterning of the Sacred Masculine. Where are the Elders/Sages/Sovereign Individuals who express, articulate and embody this? This has driven my own evolution into the loving depths of myself and the Wisdom of Divine/Source/Quantum and the expansion of who I am and am becoming. For me, James is an inspired embodiment of the Sacred Masculine, a leader who has Emerged with experiential authority. The real deal.

In this episode we dive into a nutrient dense conversation on identity, love, relationships, trauma, archetypes, initiations, birth, wound, death moments and much more. Through this there is an invitation, an inspiration for you to courageously step into the fullness of who and the big why of your existence.

This chat wasn’t just a nutritious meal, it was a buffet with a doggy bag, to gift you a taste of your own divine sustenance.

Indulge, share and courageously dive into the incredible Sol you are.

    Big Love

    Duncan (Brown Chief/Warrior)

  • NC 12: Heal Birth Heal the Earth – Calling the Power of Birth Home – Carla Sargent
    Mar 3 2024

Heal Birth Heal the Earth – Calling the Power of Birth Home – Carla Sargent

“Carla is New Zealand’s leading authority on birth trauma. Her background in midwifery & her many years of experience in helping people heal from their birth trauma, combines to offer you reliable, compassionate and trusted support.” https://www.healingbirth.co.nz/

To encounter the mindset that, for a woman, her body is broken and needs to be outsourced to a model of “care” for her to birth, is creating an epidemic of disempowerment. The catch phrase “We’ll you’ve got a healthy baby” is the go-to rebuttal of anything that challenges accountability, retrospection, and deception of sovereignty. What this inhibits is the potentiality of creating an initiation into the innate power of a woman evolving into the new reality of mother and expression of motherhood. This “groomed” abdication of the innate woman’s sovereignty is creating a significant setting and experience of destabilisation in connection on multiple levels for the woman, child, parental unit and beyond. “Heal Birth Heal the Earth” is more than a proclamation it is an invitation to call our power and sovereignty home.

Carla and I connected through a beautiful mutual friend and my first podcast guest, Lynley. In that first episode, Lynley shared her emotional birth trauma and the healing space that Carla created which empowered her to reclaim this incredible aspect of womanhood. What an amazing and courageous Sol Carla is. It is so evident, through our conversation, that Carla is following her innate calling and tapping into that wisdom to support the healing of birth trauma and empower many women. For me, I can see this is an incredibly pivotal aspect of an individuals, and more so, humanities return to wholeness.

In our conversation we share aspects of our experiences of birth, Carla’s incredible ability to hold space, her courage to create a business to support birth trauma healing for woman, what the invitation is for woman to step into for their sovereignty, her amazing mothers courageous innate birth wisdom, fear as a grooming tool to abdicate women’s sovereignty, then the power and privilege of hearing those birth stories of the amazing women who have worked through their birth trauma, as well as so much more.

This wisdom is so incredible to share, not just with other mothers but also young woman and future mums and dads to be. I really encourage you to tap into Carla’s podcast “Healing Birth with Carla” or if you would love to reach out to Carla to step into the healing of your own birth trauma’s or would like to be trained to support women through their healing, please connect in via Carla’s website:
