    Fredrick Hahn has been a certified personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise since 1990. He trains and educates some of the world’s most prominent businesspeople and celebrities in the world. He is sought after for fitness and health podcasts, lectures and presentations worldwide.

    Since 1998, he’s owned and operated SlowBurn Personal Training Studios located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and in 2015, opened his N.J. location in Montclair.

    He is the co-author, along with Drs. Michael and MaryDan Eades of the best-selling fitness book The Slow Burn Fitness Revolution (Random House 2003), focused on slow tempo strength training to maximize time and results, and is the author of Strong Kids, Healthy Kids (AMACOM 2008).

    Dr. Matthew Bernstein is Accord’s chief executive officer and one of the leading voices in the emerging field of metabolic psychiatry. He is a well-respected clinical psychiatrist for more than 25 years.

    After graduating summa cum laude from Columbia University in New York, N.Y., with a bachelor’s degree in English literature, he received his medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Bernstein then trained at the MGH McLean Psychiatry Residency Program in Belmont, Mass., where he served as chief resident. He remained at McLean Hospital after residency as a psychiatrist-in-charge and later served as assistant medical director of its schizophrenia and bipolar inpatient program.

    Dr. Bernstein has developed his passion for community-based care as the chief medical officer at Ellenhorn, a sister program of Accord, where he has pursued alternative ways (such as a focus on metabolism, nutrition, circadian-rhythm biology and exercise) to help individuals achieve their best levels of functioning without relying solely on traditional psychiatric approaches.

    Central to Accord's mission is the enhancement of metabolic health, recognizing its profound impact on mental well-being. Their focus lies in crafting personalized plans centered around enhancing metabolic health through nutrition, exercise, mind-body practices and circadian rhythm alignment.

    Temple Stewart is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Personal Trainer, and Health Behavior Change Specialist. Temple played D1 soccer at the University of Tennessee-Martin, where she earned her degree in Dietetics. Her internship was completed at the VA Medical Center in Bay Pines, FL.

    The decision to become an RDN stemmed from Temple's lifelong involvement in sports and her fascination with how proper fueling of the body affects performance. However, during her college years, she developed an unhealthy relationship with food, using food rules and diets as punishment or for comfort. This experience led her to delve into learning about food and its impact on the body, ultimately leading her to choose a career as a Registered Dietitian.

    Her interest in nutrition deepened after being diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and PCOS, further emphasizing the importance of treating the body with proper nutrition. Temple enjoys outdoor activities, and resides in the greater Phoenix, AZ area with her husband and their two kiddos!

    Dr. Miki Ben-Dor is a paleoanthropologist, researching the association between diet during the Paleolithic and human evolution. He specializes in understanding the period of our evolution known as The Stone Age.

    He retired from his successful career as an economist at age 52 to pursue his passion for learning about the evolution of our species and got his PhD in Archeology from the University of Tel-Aviv. He also has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master’s degree in business administration.

    He has released several studies, including his fantastic and critically acclaimed paper called Man the Fat Hunter. He is the author of the book Live Paleo Style: Overcome The Ancestral-Modern Mismatch to Regain Your Natural Wellbeing, which has recently been translated to English from the original text in Hebrew.
