The typically stuff you know and love if you’ve read any of Kaur’s other book. My first introduction to her writing was “Milk and Honey”. That one is still my favorite, but this collection is vibrant too. If you’re a first time reader/listener, be careful. Kaur holds no punches in her word selection and some of her topics are not proper for “polite society”. She is a person exploring about herself and writing about it. Its quite breathtaking.

I like that she is able to share her sad and at times horrific family history with the world. The sun shines within her as she learns she is complete within herself. A reminder that all of us are enough to shape our unique future.
