I love all Kresley's books and Roberts enacting them is sublime. Her characters in this one hinted of Beauty and the Beast but much more intricate and fleshed out.

Would you listen to Wicked Abyss again? Why?

Yes I would listen again. Kresley Cole is my go to author. She is the one who never let's me down. I am in love with the IAD series. My only disappointment was with Lothaire's mate. I wish Lothaire's mate was more like Lila.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Wicked Abyss?

I would say when Rune told Sian that their children could play together. And then Sian realized that Lila didn't care what their children would be, only that she wanted to have babies with him. I loved that. Lila loved the beast.

Which scene was your favorite?

There were so many. But if I had to choose just one it would be when Sian was defending himself without hurting any of the fey. Even though he was being shot with arrows and consistently harmed. He made a vow to Lila and wouldn't break it. Then Lila realizes what is happening and screams for him to fight back.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes. Again I would go back to the reason why I would listen to this again. Lila loved Sian for who he is...nothing else. Pure unconditional love.

Any additional comments?

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE. IN THE MEAN TIME I WILL BE BUYING THE AUDIBLE VERSION OF ALL THE OTHER BOOKS THAT I HAVE READ & WILL BEGIN LISTENING FOR MY REREAD OF THE SERIES.
