I thought the performance was well done, but the story seemed weaker than the movie for the battle scenes and others. it is a loose adaptation of the movie. the highlight was the Blue Skies performance.

Little character plot holes like Data's missing chip and Worf's presence bothered me. The novel ignored Wesley's (mostly cut) presence in the film. JM Dillard knows how to write these characters, though and Boyd Gaines does an excellent Picard and even sings Blue Skies as Data!

This book lets the character moments breathe and makes the end more emotional than the Movie.

Good job telling the story.. The parts that the movie left out gave me a fuller understanding of the story. Well read.

I've been listening to all of the Star Trek movies on audible. Hoping for new aspects to the story. Maybe a little more back story to enhance the films. This is the last one. And while I enjoyed the other books up until Nemesis, I just find myself constantly balking at the story line for Nemesis. B-4. Thelaron Radiation which can "destroy the universe." A human clone of Picard taking over the entire Romulan empire. And on and on. It's just a really bad story. Unless you really enjoyed the movie, I would not spend the time re-experincing this story.
