Publisher's Summary

For Mo Collins, surviving the zombie apocalypse isn’t getting any easier. Defeating blunatics, saving survivors, recovering treasure, and securing Guntersville Island has been taking up Mo’s time when he would rather just make time with his girl. But he can’t avoid his scripted destiny; his personal Oracle, Smokes, won’t let him. He can still bitch about it, though.

The crew of the replica pirate ship the Viva Ancora is growing, and the cast of characters are fulfilling their roles toward destiny. Having found his parents and assured their safety on the Island, there is still someone else missing: his brother, Easy.

So Mo, Smokes the pilot (Oh Dear God!), and The Expert are off to find Easy. His last known location? Birmingham, AL. Yeah, it total makes sense to fly off to Alabama’s largest city, which is assuredly overflowing with the naked, blue, undead cannibals. But The Hero’s gotta do what The Hero’s gotta do.

Follow Mo, Smokes, and the rest of the crew as they try to skew fate and risk life and limb again as they explore more of their new world and go in search of Mo’s lost brother, Easy.

All aboard Flight Z as we fly to parts unknown. In a world where the Zombies bite...and sometimes life bites.

Fasten your seat belt, friend; welcome to Zombies on a Plane!

I want more Mo!

Mo returns in this incredibly funny sometimes terrify third entry in Javan Bonds zombie-infested series, and the world is a little better for it. This round is a rescue mission as Mo and his boys make their way after Easy. Turns out Smokes can fly and so they hop a plane and prepare to drop the hammer. Not Hammer, he's ok, they just prepare to bring on the badassery when it comes to saving Easy.

As before the book is action packed and has interesting characters, and I for one enjoy the way the Weiner jokes are handled here, not everyone can pull off that kind of humor and make it seem adult, but Bonds does and he does it well. I laughed at this story a lot. I also sweated bullets a few times, since this is a Zed infested world and people tend to die, die, die during that kind of thing.

There are some good pop culture references (Re: Star Trek). I am still praying for Gene to bite the big one or for a big one to bite Gene, I don't care who he's shacking up with, but he's the tech . . . .anyway the action is a blast and it comes at your harder than a zombie from Return of the Living Dead looking for brains. More Brains, in fact, cause once they get a taste they go even crazier. You will be rooting for the boys and keeping an eye out for the zombies as bullets fly, Smokes flies, and people die.

The narration is pretty solid, but I'm not a big fan of double narration, and I'm not sure we needed two as Saltzman does a great job, and has the whole feel down by this point. Personally, I think this is a pretty slick book, a great series, and if you like post-apocalyptic novels, zombies, or Weiner jokes then this is defo the series to be getting.

Funny!

Okay, so I may have to turn in my nerd card after this book. Lol, I probably only got around three quarters of the references, and I feel like I need a glossary for Easter eggs! Super funny and lots of dick jokes, for the win! I feel like the author of this series is my spirit animal, guiding my inner 12 yr old to excellence. As with the previous books, Salzman is a first class voice actor who can switch from a dumb redneck to a cultured middle easterner with ease, and made this book even better.

I love the way this series is laid out. A really different approach that is fun to read. The characters are awesome and the narrator's ability to bring them to life is extraordinary. I am looking forward to enjoying the continuation of the screenplay.

Such fun

I cannot get enough of Mo, the Oracle , and the others. Yes there is zombie suspense and In this book evil human suspense, but I laugh more than anything. The combination of Javan's writing/story telling and S. W. Saltzman's narration is perfection. I hate waiting for each new audiobook, but I cannot imagine not hearing Mo reading his journal to me.

Great series

Mo and company are still alive, and I guess you could almost say thriving. Mo, Smokes and Hammer set off to go find Mo's brother Easy and bring him "home" to the island. Will they find Easy? Who is planning to take control of the island? Will they succeed or will Mo and company win the battle for the island? What's going on with the peevees? Why and how are they changing? Is the Oracle still right in what he says? Listen to this and find out what's up on Zombies on a Plane.

Genius & addictive

The series is pure genius and the audible books are the best I have listened to. The narrator deserves an award and has made the series so far, a real pleasure to listen to.

In this book there are loads of developments for the characters and the storyline. The cliff hanger at the end is going to force me to read book 4 while I’m waiting for it to be recorded and released on Audible.

This series is one that I strongly recommend. Enjoy!
