You'll need one that addresses the essential skills for true nourishment of the human spirit. Living through the end of the world isn't worth a damn unless you can enjoy yourself in any way you want. (Except, of course, for anything having to do with abuse. We could never condone such things. At least the publisher's lawyers say we can't.)

I absolutely loved that it was basically from the standpoint of a smartass so I obviously loved it

Juvenile Zombie Survival Guide.

The zombie survival guide by max brooks was an amazing book. These guys clearly though so too, and seem to have made a jokey version where about 75% of the jokes miss for me and it covers alot of the same ground.The parts where it does differ are interesting, with them going into much more detail on melee weapons for example. Given it was a free book about zombies and did have some decent jokes and some new insights into a few things i can't in the end give it the one star all around most of the jokes has me wanting to give. Its not that they are offensive, just that they aren't that funny and distract more than anything.

The narrator did well given what he had to work with.
