Definitely have to read!!

Lionel is the worst!!! I feel like he is only going to get worse as the series goes on. I loved getting a glimpse into Darius and Lance's relationship and can't wait to see how it affects the rest of the books!

Crazy! Entertained me.

It was a crazy story and the narration was over the top but it truly entertained me. I’ll look for the others now.

The readers voice was very difficult to follow

Did not like the readers voice. I could not follow the story due to the voice.

Can’t get enough

I absolutely loved this!!! Hearing Darius and Lance when they still had hope and were not wrapped up in the things that come later in the series is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. Love the authors love the narrators, I am 100% a twisted sisters groupie at this point.

Eating it up!

I will devour anything the sisters put out with enthusiasm. This was no different. Solaria is such an incredible place.

It’s alright

The narrator puts weird emphasis on certain words. His voice is gruff, strained and lacks emotion. I’m hoping it gets easier to listen because the story is quite interesting.

Not necessarily a "must"

First of all, Letting a narrator with a voice too deep to read a 14's point of view, it was a ｗ𝓮ἱ𝚛ď choice, I won't ட𝖏ǝ.
I recommend that if you want to try this novella then you should 𝑔𝖏Ⅴǝ 𝚞𝗉 on the audio version because it really ന𝞉ⅾē നē 𝚛О𝞘𝞘 ന𝒚 ē𝒚ēຮ
because it's 𝚛ÍⅾÍ𝗖𝖚𝞘О𝖚ຮ, no 14 years old boy sounds like that.
All in all, It was fine nothing more than that, it was a fine start for the series, but in general I'm not a fan of novelas... I'll start the first one soon.

nice story, kind of confusing

the story has promise but i kind of got lost along the way. i like the dudes voice but he’s literally yelling for the main character and the inflection is way off and it’s really hard to pay attention

Narrator SUCK!

I absolutely hate the narrators’s voice. Why did he have to be so dramatic and LOUD? Darius was 14, and he made him sound like a grown man in his late 30’s, or 40’s. I couldn’t concentrate on the book at all, I enjoy reading Zodiac Acemedy so far but I will have to read it without audiobooks. Because this guy voice is played for the whole series. 🙄 👎🏽

This book is the prequel Novella to the Zodiac Academy. If you haven’t started this series, this book is a great place to start. It is not required to read before you start the main series, but you gain insight of the pivotal point in Darius & Lance’s (who are the two main men in the series) lives.

Seeing how these two ended up where they are at the start of Zodiac Academy Awakening helps you to better understand these two character’s attitudes. And this story might be helpful for later books as well. When I first read ZA1 I accidently skipped over this prequel since I first read book 1 as a recommendation from Amazon. But looking back, I think I would have liked to have this understanding from these events that occurred 5 years before the twins come to Zodiac Academy.

Definitely a must listen to series! I loved hearing Jake as the narrator for this book. It was so well done!
